Re: Thomas's journal [trading The Hunt on H1]
Trade campaign 15/1
Summary
Summary
- Pair: EUR/USD
Entry: Setup 1
Risk: 36.1 P + 36.1 P = 72.2 P
Exit: Box trail/Box trail
Result: - 17 P - 17.1 P = - 34.1 P, - 0.47 R - 0.47 R = - 0.94 R
DS: 1 [12/15]
- Pre-trade remarks:
- H1, VL (1): Setup 1 into Wave 5 down
- H1, HL (1): 1:1 for the first Entry
- H1, HL (2): TZ1(a) (as Price didn't retrace more than 23.6 % of Wave 3, yet)
- H1, HL (3): TZ1
- H4, VL (1): Price within a Wave 4 down
- Post-trade remarks:
- If looking at [H4], this was not the best spot to go short. The entries were at around the 38.2 % retracement level of Wave 3. Therefore, the end of Wave 4 down could have been assumed.
Still, Alligator was open to the downside (which is, according to my TP, the only relevant criteria for [H4]).

Remind Me, Which Batch are you going through? have you completed 5 batches? Are you ready for Stage 2?
What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

With this particular TP, it's batch number one. I always re-started with the first batch, when making (minor) changes to my plan.immy wrote:Remind Me, Which Batch are you going through? have you completed 5 batches? Are you ready for Stage 2?
I think, this already disqualifies me for Stage 2

Re: Thomas's journal [trading The Hunt on H1]
Thank you for your reply. I would suggest you now add The Hunt Signals. You understand the Setup 1 pretty nicely. Your approach will simply be. Wait for a Setup 1 signal. if you take a trade based on that fine. If there is no setup 1 signal but it breaks out, you wait for Hunt signal, of course following the stuff shared in the Hunt Video and the hunt rules. Basically, you're trying to Catch the 5th wave after a clear 3. But with Hunt you'll be able to catch the 5th wave within a fresh 3. then wait for 4 catch the 5th wave, and within 5th wave catch another hunt signal. Hope it makes sense, if not, Skype is your friend...
ps: you have to make the decision I can only "show the path" you have to walk it.

I'll add The Hunt Signals and revise my TP accordingly after my actual batch of T20 is finished.
One question, if I may: what would be your recommendation for taking profit?
Currently, I'm using BE at 1:1, TP at 5:1 and box trail.
I'm fine with BE and box trail, but, should I set TP near TZ1, instead?
