Also getting back in.. you need a pretty good explanation to justify that to yourself.. if your first entry was perfect and failed while are you getting back in in a trend that stopped? Doing the same thing and expecting the outcome to be different? Isn't that the definition of insanity? =D

Just some things to think about!

Keep up the good work!
Thanks Pedro for your feedback. Something to thing about and some certainly some valid points. E.g I went into EurUsd long on the other day and it was a nice looking setup 1 but I got stopped out and yesterday a setup 0 hit 2R straight away which I had filtered, a bit of a catch sometimes in what to do...

Trade No. 17
Date: 6 -7-17

Pair:GbpUsd

Signal Type: Setup 1 H4 and it was also a setup 2 on H1.

I felt good about the trade, it was overall bullish trend. NFP news were due so it did something else instead.

DS 1

OUTCOME: 1R Loss

Trade No. 18
Date: 10 -7-17

Pair:EurUsd

Signal Type: Setup 1 H1

I took it and had to leave desk, when I got back 1R loss was hit, in hindsight I could see D1 had a reversal Pinbar but it was too late. At first sight it looked like a good setup 1.

this last one didnt cross zl, while we may take that liberty sometimes it stayed sideways longer, in both last two trades you can look at them and see how to avoid the big sideways, and that is checking all the rules, wait for zl cross and a small box, in this last one was harder to spot and would likely skip but on the trade Nº18 you can see it shot up after the signal with the small box and another tiny box after, thats the one we like, tiny risk for lots of profit. Also you can notice when it stays sidways too long the purple mingles with the gator and creates the S0 and while those are less common and harder to find the right spot to get in they breakout furiously.

Hello.

I've finished my batch 7, my DS was 80%.

I had a total of 6.6 R profit.

What's been bothering me a bit is that it has taken me a very long time to finish this batch just a bit over 2 month :-(

It's been a combination of too much chart screening so I actually missed signals even though I was around, I think that's the most annoying part when you at your screen most days but still miss signals, thanks for some great call out's on Skype though. Other reasons for the batch to take this long was that I missed some rather amazing setups which just happened outside of my trading hours, and unfortunately some family health issues I had to attend to (father-in law had 2 strokes over last couple of weeks so as a family we had to get together etc.)

Sorry for being late with my entries here. My Batch No. 8 has just started I will post my latest entries also straight away.

thats why less is more, few charts leads to better understanding and not missing the signals since you can remember where the chart is at if you keep only a handful of them.

And dont worry about missing entries due to family or any other event, focus on the objective, the endgame, for me trading is a stree free hobby I do when I have the time for it, as long as I do it disciplined when I do it, its ok to miss a couple days, dont let it stress you out,
