Hi Brenda, Your not on your own today , I am at -21 and most other journals today are negative, experience should have told us , U.S. is closed and the price action on all timeframes was screaming DO NOT TRADE.

Good Trading! The only trades I'd not have taken is Trade 4 and 5. Trade 4 definitely no no. That is not Setup 2. Setup is the one that appears jsut after setup 1 or price breaks the first or 2nd aims level out of open alligators mouth. And certainly not after divergence.
Trade 2 was taken a bit early and you had good exit point, m5 aims level to hte left i.e. where previous peak of AO was still you got far less pips, a pity.
I might take trade 5 if I had a good trade before your trade 4 or I wont take it at all if I missed the down move. Remember always see what M5 tells you. Ask a question would you take a setup on m5 at that time?

I was very cautious today following the last 2 days. Decided to trade like a Sniper not a Machine Gunner....heard that on another website

Trade #1: +8 (thought I may have exited too soon but actually was good)
Trade #2: -4 (missed my target by only a few, then reversed and took out SL....boo!)

Couple of good trades there well done it was a difficult day. I didn't see the first of your setups but did take the second one, exited at b/e as I saw price bouncing off the 5 min purple so moved my stop to b/e.

Well done on a positive day, sniper is definately better than machine gunning in my book

Yes, it's been tough for me all week, but using Grant's stop loss technique the losses have been relatively small. I'm hoping we can find a good runner or two tomorrow or Friday to finish out the week! :-bd

Hi Brenda,
Just a quick comment on your first trade , I also took that trade , You mention exited as price seemed to be stalling , It may be worthwhile to consider trailing the stop behind the candles , as there were 7 red candles in a row so a retrace was likely.

Hi Mike,

I saw that in your journal. I've never considered trailing using the body of the candles but seems like a good idea in some cases. I'll give it a try.
