Suggestions for Stage 3 Trading Batch 11-20

Unread post by immy »

Suggestions for Stage 3. Batch 11 and onwards .

1. Remove Setup 1 Dots. (go with the 3-4 analysis...)
2. Stop using 2R Profits. Instead use Box Trail only. This step will lead to what I will suggest in stage 4. If this is not done, that cannot be done. [maximising profitability from literally taking the same trades that used to give you 2R profits]

:) you can't let yourself be comfortable... keep challenging yourself.

Batch 15 will have another twist... Stage 4(ish) only YOU can tell if you're in stage 4. Stage 4 is when you become intuitive trader. Still following your rules but you know , somehow, what to do. You don't how you know but you know.

None of us here are at that stage though. ... because people think they can start at that level at day 1 ignoring the fact that you have to go through it. Its a process of trial and error, learning from your mistakes and learning how to learn , and most importantly, Learning how to let go of your "learning trade" accepting it, learning from it and going on to the next. Be in the flow not in a state of resistance .

i believe one day, I'll tell new members. Read this journal and repeat what she did. Thats Aims Stress Free Trading method. :bow

Hello Immy.

I've already started backtesting all my trades if I had used boxtrail or trail green line (just for confidence and knowledge).

I really want to embrace stage 3 fully and do the above recommendation. Everything you've said to me from start til now was correct, just take the setup's and work on DS and things will work out, thanks so much. I will keep doing my best because I'm so passionate about Setup's, silly mistakes will always happen anyways which is part of game.

Stage 4 one day one day... :rock

Nobody can force themselves to be in stage 4. The only way to get there is practice practice practice i.e. trade trade trade. Every mistake is an asset. Every trade is a learning experience. And having the Right Focus is the ultimate success factor. Being focused on the account and trade balance is the worst way of trading. Delete that terminal window during trades ... (figuratively)

It does not matter how much you're making or losing... what matters is Am I in tune with the market? Am I wanting what the market wants? which means, am I following the strategy? why? because the strategy gives you an edge. An edge that does not show it self over the course of next 5 trades. It does not tell you with certainty that the next trade will be a winner or loser however it dose tell you with a high degree of probability the outcome at the end of the next 100 trades.

So in trading, in Chaos, there is certainty over the larger period and its a probabilistic certainty yet there is randomness for individual events... The next trade often has 50% chance of a winner or loser but the next 20 trades have a 66% chance of being a winner. :)

just repeating myself ...

Batch No.11

Trade No. 4

Date: 19-9-2017

Pair: GbPJpy

Signa Type: Setup 1 H1

Outcome: No outcome yet, it's still doing it thing, will update my result later on.

Final outcome: B/E

Note of my feelings: I just wanted to note here, that I didn't think it was a high profitability trade but I still took it as it felt right to take this setup 1, most likely this doesn't make any sense what I'm saying here ah well.
