USDCAD setup for S1. I knew it would be a quiet day in the markets, but seeing as I am after the Hunt S1 setup and not the outcome, I took the trade.

T20 - 1 trade 3
Score DS1
Total DS 3/3

Quick correction to the last post. It is a CTF H1 chart and not H4 as indicated.

USDCAD H1

Gator sleeping H1, awake on H4
Purple outside box
Box 20 pips...ok
R1 levels to the left....ok
W3, then flat 4 and entry into 5

T20 - 1 trade 4
Score DS1
Total DS 4/4

Nice trading Terry
For that trade i can see that the level to the left was too close and that where the price bounced back

By the way, love your colour scheme... it is easy for the eyes 😀

Hi Ramy,
Looking back on the trade I was obviously focusing on W4 crossing into W5 and targeting the previous level, which I thought was close enough..
All comments much appreciated. Glad you like my colour scheme...eye strain can be a problem for sure.

NZDUSD on Monday 23

PO placed at late pm NY. Also my bed time. BE set at R1 and target R2.

Everything seemed to be in place except purple line was a bit far from the box.( Explanation on chart)
Price pulled back before moving down in direction of trade intension.
So I would imagine I was B Trapped before PO was activated.

T20 batch1 - trade 5

DS score = DS1

Total DS 5/5

From what I see on the chart, purple line was not too far from the chart. It was just ok. The trade idea was based on the 3-4 principle , which translates into a Hunt Pattern on the 5xHTF. Pretty good. having said that, following strict setup 1 or setup 2 rules it was not a setup. However since you have not mentioned what type of Trade Setup did you intend to take, I am not sure whether its a ds1 or not. But overall I really like th is setup.

cheers

Hi Terry, I was looking at the NU, it had a Pink dot with a sleeping gator, however as you can see another box nice and tight did show up a few hours later, most likely during your non trading hours I understand, so if we had taken the setup 2 based on flowchart this would have given you 2R Profit. I missed it as well on my end. After a pink dot sometimes we get this lovely retrace and some sideways candle and a new box (small) arrives this is always exciting for me and gives us another chance to jump in with tight SL. But also very often the Pink dots just go without us or without me hehe. Nice to see you active on skype as well :)

Thanks Immy, I have looked at this entry over and over and been through the videos etc and the only thing I can see from being a strict S1 was the fact that there was not a decent wave 4. ie a few more green bars. There were howeverone or two small ones which I thought would qualify the W4.
This of course up to the point of the arrow.

Hi Jasmien,
I had placed my order at the end of the green arrow, at my bed time and so yes, the market retraced and presented the pink dot and the nice S2 that followed. Its going to be great when I can get this initial batch of H1 S1's behind me. They are like looking for hens teeth in a haystack :rofl
Never mind I am not trying to rush things but would be dissapointed to miss an entry during my trading hours.
Thanks for posting, the more the merrier!
