Merry's Trade Journal

Unread post by gloryv »

Hello Everyone
My name is Merry… I am new to Aim’s Stress Free Trading… but not new to forex. I have traded the forex for 3 years now… And though I am already profitable, it is not of the consistency that I desire and know that it should be. I have tried several approaches, but this seems the most solid, easy to follow I have ever seen.

My plan is simple.. Watch the higher Time frame as my compass... trade the lower time frame for the lower risk... when I achieve BE... I will do a trailing stop...

Blessings to Everyone posting.php?mode=edit&f=3&t=1505&p=26845#

These I did today... I have some from yesterday that I did not fair as well with... forgot to take a pic of them. posting.php?mode=edit&f=3&t=1505&p=26845# but working on that...

That sounds like our famous strategy, you can search around for it, prolly in the archive section, We do mainly h1 setups without changing timeframes but whatever works best for you. We always recommend you apply the t20 principle and record everything in a journal to train your discipline, even for veteran traders, also keep a simple Money Management, we do 1% entry with 2R target or Target zone 1 plotted with Fibonacci Exansion or auto plotted with ewaves, move sl to be around 1R, for starters, once your familiar with it we go for longer targets with SL trailing boxes.
From the Setup Ebook we updated the timeframes to focus on H1 only and Setup1 mainly, the rest is still all valid.
If somethig comes up leave your questions here and someone will answer.
Best of luck and welcome to our little community !

Hello Merry

Welcome to AIMS and congratulations on starting your journal. T20 is a great principle. Learning any skill requires practice but not just practice. While quantity is important, the quality of practice is also very important. But quantity is surely something we need. 100 trades taken following a trading plan and keeping "discipline" as the main objective is far better than taking 1000 trades without any rules. In the later case, its time waste, however you might learn somethings for sure.

I wont say its a bad trade as you have followed your rules. However the UJ trade is what we Call Setup 0. Its best to train using Setup 1/2 first. There is a video about it hope you'll find it.

cheers

Big Huge question ...

What name would you give to this particular setup you have taken?
