Re: Siegrid's Journal
It would take you another 2 years to fully understand how to trade m1/m5 and you may not fully succeed, but it would take you 12 months to understand the Setup 1 trading it like Jasmien on h1 with 8 pairs... FACT.

I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

Smooth wave or not is not part of your DS1 principle...rcrglmd wrote: 20 Feb 2018, 10:16 Immy just posted this on skype.
Now I am rethinking that last DS1 I gave myself as it was in the "no smooth wave" section of the chart...
Stage 1. simple setup 1 rules. If you've followed your rules you get a DS1. Don't complicate it. in Skype we are doing stage 4 and beyond. So you have to do Stage 2-3 then we can deal with those things. Hope it makes sense

Re: Siegrid's Journal
M5 AO peaking and retracing, M1 AO cross with saddle point and London open. All good for setting a pending order and see what will happen next. Good trade, my opinion.

Hi Immy,
Thanks for reading and commenting.
Yes, I understand what you are saying. I need to get the basics right before I can move on. I don’t want to try any other setups or strategies. All I want to do is Setup 1. I am not trying to learn or do anything else other than Setup 1.
I am quite content to stay doing Setup1 for 12 months or two years or however long it takes me to get it. But I would love to do my lots of Setup 1 T20’s on M1/M5 as per the option you gave me above. And in accordance with the rules you specified.
I am still looking at H1 when I can, sometimes it is not so easy with work. Whereas, with M5/M1, I can almost always be in front of my pc from London open for a couple of hours. And I find I learn so much from reading the skype comments as the trades unfold on M5/M1.
I hope that is okay with you.
I have put below the M5/M1 trades I have taken for my Batch 2 so far.
If you would really prefer I stay on H1 I can, I am looking at them anyway when I can (and I am keeping track of any H1 S1s I take in accordance with the T20 principle). I just don’t have time during the day to consistently look every hour, but I can consistently do the two hours at night from LO.

Re: Siegrid's Journal
Hi Tomi,
Thanks heaps for the reassurance about that last trade. Wonderful to hear that you thought it was okay. I find it's very easy for me to continue to second guess myself when I'm learning, so it's great to see that I'm on the right track. And thanks so much for all your help on skype
Regards,
Sig.

DAX M1 – Batch 2
T2/20
Date Entered: 20180221
Signal: Red dot at 12.41
Time Entered: 12.44
DS: 1
What I saw:
M5: Gator open to the downside. Price coming back to red line.
M1: Completed W3, red dot, gator lines coming together, recent cross of ZL.
Concerns: Price below red line of M5 (purple line M1) as per Setup 1 ebook. Also, tp is between TZ1 and TZ2. Also, was keeping an eye on AO bars as was concerned that they were getting too big, but at the time of being triggered they were coming back down closer to ZL.

DAX M1 – Batch 2
T3/20
Date Entered: 20180222
Signal: Red dot at 9.58
Time Entered: 10.01

What I saw:
M5: Gator open down, testing back to green line.
M1: Completed W3 and I thought we were in W4. I kept moving the PO stops tighter as the box size changed (hence all the little arrows on the chart).
