DS 1 I’m pretty sure (gator could have been closed a little tighter, but I think everything else looked good, except M5 level was maybe too close too). Closer to a S1 than I have been in a while though I think. Hooray!

Double hooray!!
BTW: this is a damn good Setup 1... we all traded it ... Kevin got it, Tomi got it I think. I got the Cherry that happened within this 5.

Hi Sig

Thank you for your kind words, here to help when ever you need it.

You know what you are doing, you are half way there. Now to implement a new habit!, to get you out of this cycle.

I know how to spot the S1 but not sure if I am much help on the short time frames for you, it might happen too quick for me!
But I can shout out to you when I see one on the H4 or D1 and you can check in. Keep looking they will become second nature and start popping off the chart soon!

Will catch you for a chat hopefully next week, once kids back at school.

Hi Immy,

Thank you for reading again! Yes, I can see what you are saying. Every time I read your comments, the information sinks into my brain a little more :) I really want to learn to read the charts and build a solid foundation to a trading future. I feel very fortunate to have been introduced to AIMS and the information that you've made available.

Okay, based on what you've said above, I will finish this batch on M1 and then go back to higher time frames aiming for a DS 1 of over 80%. I love M1, but I will stay on the higher times to get my understanding of S1 downpat. Thanks Immy.

Hi Vicky,

Looks like I am going to join you on the higher time frames! Thank-you for your offer of a shout out. I appreciate it. I'll get my watchlist sorted in the next couple of days.

DAX M1 – Batch 5

Just finishing this batch on M1 then will move to higher time frames.

20180716 – no trades taken.

20180717 - Trade 15/20

DS 1. I have given this a DS 1 although I am not sure if I should given how the gator is not fast asleep.

Tech query: After I put in the po I put the computer into sleep mode. When I do this I don’t think ATM is moving the position to BE. Am I doing something wrong, or is it the case that the ATM doesn’t move the position to BE if the computer is in sleep mode? Thank-you if anyone can help with this query.

Hi

When a computer is in SLEEP mode, it is exactly doing that ... SLEEPING... Processor is off, screen is off, nothing happening. except some parts of ram. its there to make the computer resume from where you left it but no new processing will be done. No programme "actively" works during sleep mode. X_X X_X :wave

Starting over in 2019

Date: 01/02/19

Symbol: EUR/USD M5

Signal Type: Setup 1 Short

Comments and feelings at the time of taking the trade: Felt good to be back looking at charts again. Had a bit of trouble with my ATM settings, just trying to remember everything and what does what. I thought it was a good S1.

Comments and feelings after exiting the trade: Was hoping to start with a "financial winner", but know that is not really winning at this stage. What I'm after are DS1 scores. So that little twinge I felt at not having a "financial winner" I let go. Looking at the H1 chart now I can see that the chart had just completed a W1 to W5 sequence, and so I think that perhaps my entry wasn't at the best time (viz., after a W5 had just finished).

DS For this Trade: 1

DS Running Total: 1 / 1

Batch 2 Trade 2

Date: 01/02/19

Symbol: AUD/USD M15

Signal Type: Setup 1 Long

Comments and feelings at the time of taking the trade: I liked this set up. Clear W3 and then W4, tight box and gator closed.

Comments and feelings after exiting the trade: Please with myself because I thought this was a clear S1 and therefore a DS1 and I'd followed the process.

DS For this Trade: 1

DS Running Total: 2 / 2

Batch 1 Trade 3

Date: 01/02/19

Symbol: EURUSD M5

Signal Type: Setup 1 Short

Comments and feelings at the time of taking the trade: Liked how price had come back to the purple line, gator was closed.

Comments and feelings after exiting the trade: Disappointed that I did not follow the rules and took a trade where the purple line was in the box.

DS For this Trade: 0

DS Running Total: 2 / 3
