Eric's Journal
Short GU-H1, AO was near ZL but the purple line was just touching AIMS Box when I took the red dot.
Suddenly the market spike up, and triggered my SL. Probably I shouldn't have taken the risk, given the purple line was close to the AIMS Box.

Re: Eric's Journal
The Setup was Incorrect any way...
1. Red dot is going Against the purple
2.Purple is inside the box
3. The previous wave is 3 up and this is 4 down, so you should be looking for 5 up.
so its NOT A SETUP 1 short.
(I have corrected this now. Sorry for the confusing answer before. I'm on holiday and do things very quickly without reviewing them. )

Re: Eric's Journal
Now on to the third reply
Welcome to the world of journaling...
I hope you continue to update this journal. You did not specify a game plan but its good to see you've posted your first trade.
Is this a setup 1 plan? are you stage 1 training?
moreover, Please get rid of Fruit bar indicators, display candles, remove fruit indicator, remove hunt indicators.

Re: Eric's Journal
Hi Immy, I will maintain discipline to update the journal and thank you for the feedback.
Yes, I was thinking this is a setup 1, and although I have made some trades the past months but because I didn't keep a set of records I have decided to press the reset button and start afresh.
I'll remove the fruit and hunt indicators from the charts.
After reading your analysis, I can realize that it's a 4 down but I am still confuse what is "Red dot is going 1. Against the Dot 2." ?
Is it because the red dot is going against the Gator?
I was pondering this before placing the trade, but then I saw the AIMS box close below the Gator, and I thought it was acceptable.
Was my thinking incorrect?

Re: Eric's Journal
Trader's performance can be measured in many ways but the most common one people use is simply looking at "how much did I make from this trade, today, this week etc". It's not wrong but it's too little information. Probably wrong from certain perspectives.
A trader's performance is not measured by how much money is made. A trader's performance is measured by finding out how disciplined the trader has been. the Strategy is responsible for making or losing money. Not your fault if you lose money. Your job is to See Setup 1, trade it, manage the trade correctly according to plan and risk management should not be changed. Risk per trade Must be kept the same for all batches. Many traders don't understand that Risk Management is tantamount to bloody pressure or pulse rate of a human body. You can't mess with it.
Hence T20 principle and marking trades with DS1 or DS0 is more useful and powerful than looking at "Losing trade" "winning trade".
