Batch 5

Trade 14

Nzd/Jpy H4 Long
S1 started well, out at -1R.

End result was -1R

R result to date for this batch: -8R

DS score for batch: 14/14

Overall total R score: (all batches) +16R

Batch Six will be Stage 2.
Trade Management will change slightly.

You will Setup your TP at just around TZ1. and as soon entry is in. You will hit the T Fractal Button on the ATM. if computer is running on vps or 24hrs it will do all its own. However you have to switch it on to use this feature then you'll have to do it manually. e.g. in the trade above, (and good lord what a mighty drawdown period you're going through... and its part of the game and will be over soon). you'd be out before it hit your 1R SL.

Hold on tight, don't worry...

Thanks Immy, I wasn't throwing in the towel yet, but this run of losses has had to make me dig deep! I was going to wait till I finished the batch and ask you what happened, where I went wrong for this batch to go into draw down so much, but it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel for my trading account, thank goodness for that!!

Drawdown is nasty and we all encounter it. What you can do is to check the trades from your journal and if those meet the setup criteria and are traded by the plan, be proud. Market moves like it wants to move and we just follow along. Be cool and keep the focus on trading your trading plan. Over time you get used to drawdown periods.

Hi Tomi
Thank you for your post. I had planned to review my batch at the end as I have in the past, I aways learn something from the review.
As you said drawn down periods are not great. You need to keep going even when that little voice in your head says this could be another loser.
I have had to push through and make sure I take the next siganl as per my plan in the hope the winners are coming.

Hey V.

As you know I've had a loosing batch as well. It's OK we we'll have a better one in next round. I know the feeling of that little voice inside your head don't let it get to you. Your DS was good, so be proud you've followed plan, a few mistakes I can see now as well (in hindsight), we've already changed your ATM hunt settings which were wrong so that's cleared now. My DS was well below 80 this time around so need to do better as well, again it's OK...Knowing you personally and have seen from where you've started you've really come a long way & learned heaps already, so be proud of that!!! We've also chatted and there were some killer signals we've both missed :whew but there will always be another great signal :dog :bow

Vicky, I was on the very same trade (GBPJPY H4). It looked really good at the start and I had expected it to reach TP (I use 1:1 trade management). When I woke up this morning to turn on my computer expecting TP to be closed, I was horrified it had reversed and closed out in loss. :worried

That's alright. There's always a next time.

From this, I learned to be extra-cautious when the pair has reversed from the resistance zone twice already as it was in the case with this pair. We might want to try placing the TP under the resistance zone if we can; otherwise, we can filter this trade.

Thanks good to know, if you got trapped by this one as well, I must have entered correctly!

Yes this is a good point, that way we would have come out with something positive.
