Results so far without NULL trades

Unread post by Moderator »

So I completed another study of my 2 months of trading and I'm quite happy and upset at the same time.

Which means, I was upset to find out about how many DS0 trades I took
I was upset I changed 3 times.
But then I found out that I was upset because results were not great.

That lead to a discovery.

The Fruit method / Setup trades on its own would have given a a postive outcome and drawdown was much low compared to the 3% I have now. Here is a picture that shows it all. You can go to my account to see it yourself.

This picture below shows results without the trades that I took using a third, method. (seeds).
I achieved this by using the Tag function. I tagged each trade with either DS1, DS0 or NULL. Null meant it was third method. Could also be called DS0 though.
Trade Outcome without Null Trades.png
The following picture shows how I'd have faired without the DS0 trades.

I have achieved this by filtering NULL and DS0 Tags showing only trades with DS1 tag.

Finally, below picture of what it IS RIGHT NOW... REALITY SUCKS.... :bringiton :ar! :dog
The Actual-Real Picture as it stands..png
Two Important Points I learn from this.

1. Keep a VERY strict eye on DRAWDOWNS... The way to control drawdowns is RISK Management. Don't risk all 1% on one trade.
2. The future is bright. If I could manage drawdowns to never exceed 5% and keep going I will make it to the other side without a bloody face, no scars of battle cuts and bruises.

For controlled drawdown: trade only by the plan. Follow it to the letter.

Overall I really like your statistical, open and analytical approach. Many great trades also. Really, just keep going and observing!

Thanks Tomi
:hug

 for me that I stick to the plan.

I have noticed that I cannot trade even a single method inside AIMS method. :idk
