The London Open Price Level and other things

Unread post by immy »

I don't want some of the things to get lost in the Chatroom so I try to keep those screenshots and try to post them here. in hope that someday someone will read it and benefit. :D

So the london Open Price Level. Its an important concept and traders in the pits have been using this for decades.

it still works. its sort of part of the structure of the market.

Re: Immy's Corner [The Setup The Hunt - T20's and more]

Today DAX provided a fantastic opportunity to take a Hunt Seed Trader that required a mere 5 pip Stop loss.

Profit gained was 11 R for me but had i just ignored one pullback candle it could have been easily turned into a 120 pips profit which would mean 120/5 = 24 R Profit. that's mean... :rock

Later during the day it presented a nice Setup 1 Setup 2 and Seed and broke in ot Wave 5 towards TZ1

AIMS The 10X Pattern

Unread post by immy »

Here is a food for thought... a bread crumb towards something ... I will explain later

AIMS THE 10X Pattern

AIMS Setup 1 Has a Fractal Geometric Sister Pattern called THE HUNT Pattern
Hunt happens on the 5X Time Frame
but on a 10X Pattern - There is another pattern that happens. Its made of 2-5 candles.

See if you can find it here

Trading Correctly - An important lesson

Unread post by immy »

Remember this :
For Hunt Method / Setup 1 Signals

The market should have broken out of a range bound and boxed market on a HTF and just recently. Just recently refers to, relatively speaking, in terms of number of candles, time would translate differently per time frame. If e.g. Tomi is searching for a Setup , a breakout scenario on his M5 chart, as long as Tomi is not in the trade, you on m1, should also be NOT in a trade. You might actually get into a trade after Tomi Takes a breakout or at the same time.

IF a H4 chart is boxed, sleeping gator and sideways, you on h1, will NOT take a trade. You will either TIME the breakout "using the double aims" concept in line with h4, or wait for H4 gator to Open, then wait for your Setup 1 on h1. While you see a setup 1 on h1, H4 gator might just have bent its lines slightly inwards, but still open , the green should not be touching the red.

Here is a good example of the above. DAX was not in extravagant mood like the past few days. But there was a breakout scenario that could have been caught.

see if you could decipher the information

The H1/M1 Method

Unread post by immy »

Wait for H1 chart to Breakout Strongly. With one Big candle that is visually larger than the rest of the chart. like below
Choppy market then strong breakout.png
then drop to M15 or M5 or M1. Find A Hunt of Setup 1 signal.

Here on m5 you could have taken the pc cherry or the box breakout below
m5 pc cherry.png
or you could have trade the M1 Setup 1
EJ M1 Setup 1.png
I traded EUR/USD

Wish you a Happy and Relaxing Holiday Period

Unread post by immy »

If you ask me what have I learned in the last 10 years of Trading it would be this

IF trading Intraday, or whatever time frame, but specially intraday, trade only the CLEARLY MOVING MARKETS

The trades shown in the post above are exactly that...

And with that I'll share this little gem of an information ...

In a Sideways market = When Boxes are going sideways horizontally = The box high and low levels show you price levels which are levels where price has an equal chances of either breaking it or bouncing off it.

Compared that when you have a strong 3 and cosolidation , with flat boxes, like picture above, then the boxes show you price levels below which when it breaks, it will most likely RESUME THE TREND

This is a HUGE distinction .. . I hope this helps someone in some way ... it helps me alot

!!!I wish you all a Happy Holiday period, A Merry Christmas and a A Happy New Year !!!

:hug :hug :dance :dance @};- @};-
