Dear Aimsters
I know from the Setup eBook that we add 1 pip to the AIMS box for Pending Orders and Stop Losses. I am trying to discover what TF that I am most comfortable with but didn't find any reference to how many pips I should add if I am trading M15 or H1 or H4. Certainly, for H1,the AIMS box I am seeing for DAX30 is 76 pips and for USDCAD is 22 pips. a 1 pip adjustment felt rather inconsequential.
Is there guidance on what to allow for for each TF and for different instruments such as indices?
Thanking you in advance.
Edward

Re: Setting up pending orders
Hi Edward,
I'll be testing different time frames too and that is a great question.
Maybe this updated response will bump this unanswered question to the top of the queue.
Good one...

Hi Ed,
I'm sure you've had this question answered by now , but thought I'll respond anyway.
For the shorter time frame, the tighter the better , but the same buffer can be applied and would work all the way to D1 charts.
Some people give 5 pips buffer for H4 and above. I can confirm I use the same settings from M1 to H4.
cheers
