Hi noticed something

You're going too fast. Batch 5 and you've already added more pairs and trying different trade management etc.
Take it slow... slow down... don't change too many things too fast...
Remember you're doing T20 on the M1 chart. You gotta do at least 10 batches using the same method.
here is a shocker

THE URGE TO CHANGE = LOSING DISCIPLINE

Part of the vital objective of the T20 principle is to be able to STICK TO SOMETHING for at least 5 BATCHES...

But suppose we say , what's done is done. and lets say it. Lets say you're comfortable with what you have now. The Question now is ...will you stick to THIS current setup for the next 5 batches? or will you be somewhere else? if that continues to happen, where you will be at, by the end of the year. THINK... I think you should NOT make a further change for the NEXT 5 batches. IF you do so, you'll enter Stage 3... CHANGES are made in STAGE 3...

ganesha04 wrote: 15 Apr 2019, 21:01 Hi Aimsters,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ganesh and I’m from London. I was first introduced to trading in 2013 and straight away felt like this was my life calling. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as easy as many YouTube videos were promising, and I went from trying to giving up and then trying again and giving up. Time past by and in the mean time I was able to build a successful business, but I still felt that trading is something I wanted to do in the long term. So last September I decided to give this a proper go, especially as I have more time at hand now.

I luckily met a mentor via LinkedIn and he introduced me to a number of interesting concepts such as the AO, Divergence, Price Action, etc etc and he has been incredible in guiding me on the long term concepts.

He recommended to check out AIMS at the beginning and doing a bit of research I really liked the simplicity with a clear setup and also the focus behind the individual stages.

I still have a long way to go, particularly my mind (entrepreneurial mindset may not be the best for trading lol) but I am willing to work hard and give this a go.

I am going to spend the next few days, getting all the basis ready, watching Setup 1 and then putting my Trading Journal together with the aim to start trading the morning sessions for next week and to complete the first 10 batches of T20.

Best,
Ganesh
Congratulations @Ganesh04 TODAY is the BIRTHDAY or 1 year anniversary of your JOURNAL

PC Cherry

3. Symbol/TF: Dax
4. Signal Type / Direction: Short Cherry
5. The situation on M5:
6. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade: Price broke out heavy at NYO; came down at a steep line away from Gator, on the pullback Cherry; rented it...
7.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: I was trading it live with Immy; there was actually a PC cherry (had to change settings) and if I had taken 2nd cherry I would have made a 2R. Immy also suggested to reduce my % to 0.5 on Hunt which I will include in the TM I am writing atm.

5. The situation on M5: Potential new Impulsive wave; first pullback after a breakdown.
6. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade: Was watching the M1 gaining nice downward momentum; Clear 3rd-4th wave (only slight problem I had was the purple line crossed slightly). However, strong PC Cherry on the M5 with nice Hunt pattern after a breakdown. Got in
7.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: Trade played out beautifully but DS0 as technically a S0...

WHY 1 R Profit?

but man that EUR/JPY m1 you spotted... i'll kill for that... what a lovely setup... this method is deadly... as long as you could wait for setups like these...

Try to Keep each trade separate... give each trade its own subject. most people using this forum forget about subject line. pay attention to the subject line and update it as Trade x batch x pair xxx

Dax 20/04/2020 PC Monarch Seed S1

Unread post by ganesha04 »

Thanks Immy; 1R because my ATM management with the trailing stop somehow got me out... still not sure why...

1. Trade Number: 17/20 Batch 5
2. Date/Time: 20/04/2020 - Morning Session
3. Symbol/TF: DAX
4. Signal Type / Direction: Short S1 (twice) & Monarch
5. The situation on M5: Some sort of PC pattern
6. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade: I saw a 3 down before LO; took the S1; 0.5 Rent as per new TM... AO went back into green close to 0 line and then lining up for another potential break into the 5th (according to my rules 2 trades per Setup, this was still valid); took the trade and trailing stop around 1R. Then Price pull back, created a beautiful PC Monarch pattern and went down for a further 2R.
7. Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: Heck of a trade to see through but I was really proud of myself that I was able to see the Monarch PC patter; which was a beautiful 1-2. Well Done ME :)
8. DS For this Trade: 1DS
9. DS Running Total: 91% (15/17)
10. Result: +2.1 (-0.5R; 0.6R; 2R)

7. Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade: A Small loosing day; but need to accept it; I did everything right.
