Hi everyone,

Another frustrating day that has me longing for January to finish. Managed to delete my PO before red news so missed the only real decent trade today. So as a result have had a rent paying day.

NEXT

Todays trades were :

1. -4
2. -7
3. 0

Total -11 (-0.85%)

Trades PDF below

Cheers

Hi Grant,

In your trade management technique, you wrote: Move SL to High/ low of trigger candle +/- 3 pips

I don't really understand that part. Does it mean:

1. After our entry is hit, we immediately move our SL to high/low of the trigger candle +/- 3 pips?

OR

2. We wait for certain conditions, like for example, after certain pips is gained?

Thanks, Grant

Thanks a lot Grant. Crystal clear now.

One more question if you don't mind. You wrote "At +5 pips move SL to -4"

Does this mean that after profit 5 pips, we lock our profit by 1 pips?

Thanks and wish you many profitable pips today!

Evening,

I had to pick my little girl up form school and take her to the doctors this afternoon so i havent traded and filled out the decision SS.

I did take 1 trade this morning for +6 so the PDF is attached for that trade.

As for the week, i'm glad its over, like most of the journals i have read, i have found it a bit of struggle and am quite happy to walk away at 0 pips.

Lets hope for some better conditions next week into February.

Have a great weekend all..

Grant

Grant,
How do you mark the arrow on the MT4 charts for the trade entry and close once the trades finished, I have tried everything and can't find it. Many thanks, saving my trades to compare with journals.

Hi Tony
Click on the Account History tab at bottom of the MT4 platform. With your cursor, highlight one of your closed trades, then click and drag it to your chart. The entry and exit points of the trade will then be plotted on the chart.
