What would you do differently: Looking at managing on H1 with MA20, would have been out with 1R.

My feelings and analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: Long entry, as I thought I got in on the pull back. Pull back was longer and took longer to play out and go long. Out at Loss
What would you do differently: Overall happy with the one, it dropped further down on the pull back than my SL. Dropping to H1 if I was going with MA20 I would have had SL lower and it would have still been in play and taken off in the directions I wanted.

I think the move up was "climactic" its unusual for swissy to move 200 pips in 3 days. And it did based on NEWS and the fact that its been dropping for 3 months... eventually it found a trading range during first 2 weeks of june and then exploded upwards. You caught hte final leg up.
If I enter "late" into a trend I'd expect to "scalp" a leg instead of hoping for a multi day move.

ps: i think of market cycle in terms of 3 phases ... I've explained this in my trading plan on my blog here https://itradeaims.net/day-trading-plan ... nd-stages1. A Trading Range (wide/tight) (Bear and Bull Moves within Range)2. Trend (3 types strong mild weak)3. Pull Back (2 types , simple / complex)4. Climax (1 type)
This applies whether you have a naked chart, a chart with 20 indicators or whatever ... this is the structure of the market.
Your entry was within a Tight Trend Channel / Breakout Phase.

I am happy with the last few entry, and while BE is better than a loss, it seems now I am not getting the ones that run.
It seems I am always missing a link, and a longer term run of winners and getting there as a consistant trader is still always just out of my reach.
Bit frustrated at present.

Placed in lock down again last night, so trading day for me!
Working on setting my levels on HTF charts, ready to drop down to H4.
Lets hope I can make some break throughs with this new found time!

My feelings and analysis at the time of entry and afterwards: D1 reversal of entry. PO placed below bottom of box to the left, H4 showed waltz. Managed on H4. Checked at night after next H4 candle, was moving strongly towards TP, TP moved down to next support level on H4. Out at 2.6R
What would you do differently: Happy with this trade, good entry, managed well.
