What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

AUD/USD Backtesting Feb to 03 Sep 2021
Hi
I have done some backtesting on AUD/USD to see how this pair performed this year so far.
The Entry Methods Used were :
S1 / S2 / First Pullback after breakout and Famous PC Entry
The famous PC Entry means, the pair had a strong move the day ahead, then on the next day, at FO or later we got in using a Bullish or Bearish continuation candle after seeing a PC Pattern
Trade Management : Trailing boxes
Risk per trade: 1%
Targets: No Targets only trailing.
Note: I only trail a box after the opposite side of it is broke. This protects against PC fakeouts.
I have saved the Trades on a TradingView Template. Here is link to this template. https://uk.tradingview.com/chart/0AZi4UUc/
Hope you enjoy watching those trades and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
cheers
ps: The trades have been drawn with Risk Reward Tool.
pps: you can even copy this to make it your own in tradingview.

Hey Alina
Yes, it does that, because it's my main profile. I should have created a different profile the one I don't use. I will do that the NEXT time. For now, just type in AUD/USD and choose FXCM broker. hope this helps

The WALTZ Seed - An Absolute No Brainer
The WALTZ pattern is my favourite pattern too. They are all my favourites but this one is really awesome. It works great on GU pair. The character of GU is impulsive. I challenge all of our friends here (your) to complete a good 1 or 2 years back test on this method. It should blow your mind .

Trade Report:
Today I went a bit mental and traded the hourly charts like the m1 charts.
I took too many trades and obviously the result is now just under 1% loss on a 100K account.
Lets have a look ...
DAX 30 : I had a relatively good signal Last night and although I don't want to really take an overnight trade on the indices, I did.
Unfortunately it turned into a rent, but I noticed later that the VPS setting was not correct. IT should have stopped out BE below the box. Trailing box was not activated.
Then I took a long again, which was a DS0. Not part of my trade plan. I told myself NOT to trade like this but I went long again ...
Gold I took a long trade Last night. I KNEW that it was not really trending, but I was basing my long on the 2 impulsive candles. it was a hopeful trade and one I should NOT be taking. Today, I woke up to the trade being stopped out overnight. Happy with that .
The nI saw the Impulse Bear candle and took the short
Again I knew that I was looking for a quick breakout and I targeted the lows to the left. I hit my 2R and nice trade. Just wish it was 1% risk lol. but again, if I see that the trade is not high probability then I risk half or quarter of a percent.

14 Sep 2021 - Part 2 - US100 NAS100
I invented a new type of entry method, and it works but not this time or rather, it does not work within sideways choppy markets.
In Fact nothing works in sideways and choppy markets
Not going to do this again. Infact, I will NOT trade Indices on the Swing H1 Account. NOPE.
The PO was set up like this. Limit Buy
Then it got triggered
and then it got flushed
Post trade: Now I know that I was simply trading the "state of my mind". I was Anticipating that the indices "should" go up today. and with that mindset I went long on the DAX as well to pay the third rent.
This mind set actually then relayed itself to my day trades as well and had myself a 2% down session trading the longs on NASdaq. And then missing the shorts because I was Striked Out. Can't trade after 2% down. nope. That broke my 13 days winning streak. oh well. NEXT
NAS US Session So what I'm doing is that I was long on one account and then wanted to long on m1 as well. and so I collected myself 1% loss on the swing account and then 2% on the day trading account. This is stupid. No more indices on swing account.

14 Sep 2021 - Part 3 - AUD/JPy AUD/USD
The fact that I'm going in to part 3, means I have certainly over traded.
Next I took a lovely Cherry signal on the AUD/JPY .. .I do not regret it, it was a DS1 trade. I will do it everytime I see it.
News did not help and went against us.
I also went short on the AUD/USD and although it was BE before newss, it slipped and closed for -8... small loss. NEXT

14 Sep 2021 - Part 4 - The Results
Down this day but its a swing account, the result of the day does not mean much. The Result of the week and month does.
What can I learn from this
I have learned that I was reacting to the market today just like I react to the m1 chart. I MUST not allow this to happen.
I broke all my rules today. Trade more than I should, trade multiple times on the swing account.
I have gone back to 8 Pairs now
EU GU UJ UCAD NZ AU XAU EJ
