25 May 2022 - Morning Analysis Chart

Unread post by immy »

Good Morning My Journal!

So today is a Hump day as they call it in the US. :)

I have no sense of urgency since I don't really care what happens at he london open. I have already checked my charts and I don't see any impulse waves.

I see some bear flags, which means, they would need to breakout before I can trade.

I feel calm and relaxed. I take a deep breath in and out as I write this. ahhhhh

London Just opened and I'm not glued to the chart... another ahhhhhh

As much as I liked it before, I absolutely don't anymore (watching m1 chart like a hawk).

The power of personalities!!!! What makes the charts form the way they do and move how then do and whatever they want to do…. Peoples opinions and personalities!

When it does not move or fails to break a level or hit a stop or TP…. Not one person in the world believes or thinks the product or market is worth more or less than it is right now.’

I love that phrase. You know who said it 😋 I remind myself of it often.

Observation on Indices

Unread post by immy »

I think the Indices are a GREAT instrument when it comes to trading the pullbacks and the banana method.

All 4 indices, UK100, US100 DAX and DOW has the potential to give us a trade entry that require 30-50 stop loss. and they go 500 points when they go.

The stock market is much more predictable. It has a mood overall that at least, i can assess very easily.

I think that if one traded only 1 or 2 of these indices on the Hourly time frame, would be enough make a decent living.

just an observation.

That shows that my objectivity was not spot on today. My emotions were taking over my objectivity. I know why. I am not feeling well since YD. Lethargic, bloated, my internal system is not good. That may be affecting my thought process as well.  But the Flowchart, the simple 4 questions will SAVE ME.

Was there a signal YES
Was there an impulse move, (a breakout with a new swing high) YES
Was the impulse move climactic? NO
Was the pullback impulsive? NO

TAKE THE TRADE.... BOOOM... SL to BE

So, I'm interested in long on NASDAQ so I have started to go long off the M5 formation. I will complete my position when it goes above the current high which is the H1 trend candle. That is the current , under construction, Seed. This here are the inner guts of the Seed of h1

ps:Hey Vicky.. .so did you catch the Indices Signals on H4?
