Tuesday 21-6-2022 the Yen pairs
After the BE result of the USD-CAD the Yen pairs started moving.
Looking at USD-JPY first. USD-JPY was not ready, as I wanted the level that was to the left being broken, and getting a banana signal after that. If it breaks the level it would be in uncharted territory. In hindsight, I should not have waited, looking at Immy's trade which is making lots of R's.
GBPJPY was looking good, close by levels cleared and a signal, But it was not like there wasn't anything to the left. Defo not uncharted territory.
So I looked for another currency that was strong versus the JPY, and that's why I looked at CHF-JPY. This is already in uncharted territory, nothing to the left. And it looked a good setup too.
So I decided to spread the risk and do half risk on both these pairs.
I deliberately violated my tradingplan, and I really thought about it before I made the choice to do so. I think these were valid arguments.

Flowchart questions:
A - Is there an impulse move?
Yes, there is, 3 candles. 50 EMA on right side.
B - Is impulse move climactic?
No not climactic.
C - Is there a pause or a pullback?
Yes. It's a pause of 1 candles.
D - Is the pullback impulsieve?
No, and it gives a seed.
12 - Post-Trade Comments: (Feelings, Analysis, What could have been differently, lessons)
I was hesitant on the GBP-JPY because of the level quite far to the left. Hence my choice to spread risk between 2 Yen pairs and do both half risk.
The GBP-JPY trade is still running. SL is at BE.
update: trade has finalised and 1.5R target has been hit.

Because I wasn't really sure about GBP-JPY because of levels to the left, I looked for another currency that was strong versus the JPY, and that's why I looked at CHF-JPY. This is one already in uncharted territory, nothing to the left. And it looked a good setup too.
So half risk on both these pairs.
I deliberately violated my tradingplan, and I really thought about it before I made the choice to do so. I think these were valid arguments.
In hindsight, it was a good choice to trade this pair. It went straight to TP of 1.5R in this case.

GBP-JPY trade is running risk free as SL is at BE there.
So I could take this signal on USD-JPY. It had broken the levl and it gave a signal. This was the 2nd pullback/pause after separation of 5 and 10 EMA.
Updated: trade has finalised, result BE.

Re: Tuesday 21-6-2022 the Yen pairs
These are exactly the lines taken from the British Prime Minister's code of conduct. It was right not to do the right thing. It was right to do the wrong thing. At this time the wrong is the right. When I like to see Red the blue looks red and so the blue is red.Minsk wrote: 21 Jun 2022, 20:05

Re: Minsk T20 - Banana 1H
You are Stage 1. Every time you exit, say 1R instead of 3R or 2R instead or 3R, or move SL too early, or exit too early, or change the time frame, or trade another pair, despite the fancy thoughts and awesome ideas... IT WILL BE DS0... If you do it knowingly, you can, but you will have to accept and say, I am willing to accept a DS0. Willing to DENY my goal of 100% discipline score for profit?
