Hi Sam, what VPS do you use?




 

I built my own in AWS. I am shutting down during weekend to save some cost. I am leveraging my technical skills here, by profession i am cloud solutions architect. Happy to help and guide you if would like to setup your own. 

PS. This VPS has public IP which allows me to access server from anywhere in the world and most importantly from phone so i can do hourly checks from pretty much anywhere. Have been using this setup since long time.

I would be interested in an AWS hosted server as well. I am paying for a basic VPS but I would love to know how it compares monthly in cost to one built on AWS. I have used AWS in the past for work so it would be fun to play around and see how easy it is! 
 
I don't know why I hadn't thought of that before!
