Re: Herbert's trades for discussion
Hi
I would disagree with that. It's the fear of making myself look stupid by having to post my junk losers on here that makes me try to ensure that I'm obeying the rules.

Re: Herbert's trades for discussion
Appreciate your comment Brenda!
As long as i can understand the losers and learn from it, i pass them over as you suggests.
The moment i cannot grasp why, I will definately post it here to benefit from other's insights like yourself and Grant's/Immy's professional scrutiny. :ympray:
(I hate to be wrong, so may take some time...)
My insights lately with AIMS are:
1. Knowing in which wave we are on a higher timeframe. I stand corrected on the optimum scenario, but for now i look at 5min, 15min and 1H for that.
I use TF's bit different. Sometimes i can see the 1H picture on a 5min when you zoom out, then it may be the same scene.
IE: My view of past difficult days for 1min Aims like yesterday.... 1H in wave 4, the dirty wave. Today euro 1H completed wave 5, so AIMS back into awesome action.
2. I realized that the ***PERFECT*** (Grant), AIMS setup1, tend to put us into a wave 3-in-3 (and more), the ultimate momentum price mover.
3. Market times. A setup is a setup.... with the correct timing of the "trading day", you can expect the why and when for a great AIMS setup. The "HOW" is AIMS itself.. :-bd .
AIMS has put me on a new profitable path with elliot. Thanks to all, creators, aimsters, our automation guru Snorm and great traders in this forum... ^:)^
I salute you all.

Re: Herbert's trades for discussion
I agree 100% with you BobbyF. I am posting all my trades in my journal as it makes me look that little bit harder knowing I am not filtering out the losers. Plus as Brenda says other people looking in think you have a 100% track record and believe they are somehow underperforming by comparison.BobbyF wrote:Hi

I have learned a lot from other peoples journals and sometimes feel relieved that the losing trade I made was replicated by others (I mean that in a nice way). For the majority of us we are still in the early stages of the learning process and seeing all the trades helps me enormously.

Re: Herbert's trades for discussion
Hi Bobby and Richard.
This thread is not a journal as the title states, but what I choose to post, open for discussion.
Other than that, my losing trades I confront vigorously against provided reference materials, or request direct assistance specifically. It is a personal journey.
In addition, I certainly did not take only the winning trades as posted here, neither do I measure my own performance based on another’s.
I mainly seek to provide a positive experience here as Brenda referred to on Immy’s remarks. That is the ONLY way to win.
The AIMS documentation on what a setup is, is extensive and well documented, plus, we are extremely fortunate to have Grant’s records. It does not get better and simpler than that.
Your journal choices are your own and highly valued. Keep it up.

Re: Herbert's trades for discussion
Showing 3 non-100% AIMS trades.
2nd trade shows that wave tends to complete FE targets, looking afterward had to do it with w5.
For the record. My Non-AIMS trades are simply just not following setup rule-set 100%, although without the AIMS scenario/concept/understanding, I would not know where the hell I am on these charts. So hat off to AIMS.. ^:)^
Note to Forum: Should i continue with posting trades at my own discretion and/or non-AIMS trades???
?

Herb, going forward, will you only be showing the winners on your 'non-100% AIMS trades' also.............. (rofl) (rofl)
Gotta say, you crack me up..............I for one think that you should do what you want with this thread, after all it is up to you.
