Re: Higher Time Frames
Grant,
Thanks for posting your trade, reading the aims wave on the 1hr and 4hr is a different kettle of fish, your diagram is very usefull. I enjoyed Immy's journal post where the 4th wave on the 1 min trade zig-zaged the 0 line several times, from what we have learnt so far it was a new perspective for me. All information regarding the interpretation of the wave is very usefull. Cheers.

Re: Higher Time Frames
H1 traders,
Note - On my 1 hr charts I run version 4. So usd/cad trade, red dot on 1hr, alligator sleeping, cross of
0 line on 1hr and 4 hr chart wave on decline towards 0 line. 4hr chart showed retrace back to purple after strong downward trend. Closed trade at 39 pips around previous support area's and needed sleep.

Re: Higher Time Frames
Just had my first H1 trade close and it was a winner.
My PO was triggered on the 8am candle yesterday morning. Initially I used Grants H1 trade mangement rules until I was 20pips in profit then I trailed the price by 10 pips using a TM EA to see if I could gain any more pips through the night. MY SL was hit on the 7am candle this morning for +37pips (1.85%).
I used Aimswave of 0.1 and max pip box of 50.
I am watching 9 different pairs on both H1 and H4. Hopefully using the HTF with M1 will help to bag a few more pips per month.

Re: Higher Time Frames
I took this H1 EUR-GBP trade yesterday. I used Grants trade management up until I went to bed last night then I set the TM Ea to trail the last candle by 10 pips but unfortunately the price retraced and hit my SL for +5pips (0.25%). I had originally thought about putting the SL to BE, however, this too would have hit SL.

Re: Higher Time Frames
Opened up my MT4 this morning to see that my USD-CAD H1 had taken a turn against me during the night. There had been a red dot earlier this morning so I decided to manually close for -9pips.
I have a USD-JPY H1 trade open at present which is going well and have just moved my SL to BE.

Re: Higher Time Frames
I have just manually closed my USD-JPY H1 trade for +30pips after a black diamond was present on the close of the 7pm candle.

Re: Higher Time Frames
All I can say is the last few days have been "finally" fantastic for the hourly even four hourly charts! I remember some one said they have a EUR/JPY with over 500 pips position. I see according to our system there was an entry signal on the 16th of Feb at 12.00 Alpari on a four hourly chart to go long above 1.3510. The markt is now at 109.21 that is roughly 550 pips profit! wonderful... here is a picture of it!
