Re: Bettina's Journal
Good morning !
the last four days I had more rents than the whole month before ???
The Feb ended up with -4 % or -26 Pips.
Analyzed trades very often show the same situation : After Wave 3 I think too early that w5 will start.
Todays first trade is the same, see pic
Bettina
NB : Herbert : No, no higher timeframes for me [-x

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hey Bettina. Sorry to note your loss. I did not take any trade there since i am shy of thos w4's for now :ympray:
First of all, the AO peak at ZL for wave 4 is perfect imo. Once it reached across ZL, i consider swing sufficient, then it's just mechanics/setup to look for.
Looking back for the sake of trying to gain more understanding of it, my view: I am of opinion that we had a failed w5, even though later low seems to be 5 (chaos). I see your trade taken formed a 100% abc from top of what i marked 4.
I see significant divergence on AO for that "failed" w5. (pivot S1 the cause?) Look at my AO FIB comparisons to price points. AO reached 38.2%, price went 78.6.
I also show that previous w3 on AO adhere's perfectly with FIB ext relations.
(Coming from FMM, i consider THAT rather hidden divergence and the FMM hidden divergence (blue) as a reversal......
I know, i over-analyze by some opinions, but I value understanding more. :-B

Herbert,
no, not too much yapping. That's why we have the forum.
Now afterwards I think the whole was a w5 as a descending triangle and the exxaggerated divergence is clear - now !

Re: Bettina's Journal
Yep, I took the setup 2 after the pink dot at 14.31 alpari time. Aims box shrank to 6-7 pips, just before the trigger candle at 13.37, 10 pips available

Re: Bettina's Journal
after 2 weeks of nothing but loosing trades ( it was no longer fun to publish them ) : today I'm rather proud.
I think it was the first day, where I had only one trade ( John, thanks for your encouragement today !) and that was a winner with 13.6 pips or 1.16 % acc.growth.
But analysing the loosers, I detected a pattern :
1 ) Entered too early ( in terms of setups ) within w2 or w4 with too much levels to the left
2 ) Entered then too late ( in terms of levels ), usually e.g. below M5 or even M15 ( Herbert you told me that before, I know, but somehow I ignored your warning )
3 ) Took Grant's MM with short SL ( above entry candle ). ( Grant, sorry, hope you are not angry, seems not to fit for me )
4 ) Of course didn't stand the slightest retracement ...
All of this doesn't fit together at all !! ( Immy, you gave me this important hint last week )
70% of the loosers would have turned to winners ( very often w1 or some b in w2/4 ), if I had taken only the AIMS boxes ( and 5 candles rule ) as SL or waited for the next setup !!!
So on the one hand I will be more selective in taking setups ( which leads also to some more missed trades ) and on the other hand I will stick to the boxes.
I'm sure that will improve my results.
