Re: Topher's Journal
Topher,
Many thanks again. I will set up my charts and attempt some trades this week. Do you use an audio alarm, or just "eye" checks on the hour/4 hour ?
Yours

Re: Topher's Journal
Hi
My Two Cents Worth!
I suggest that you train your eyes to understand and adapt to the sutle subjective objectivity of Chaos! with experience you wont really need the Clsoe to Zero Line change of colour. It is only for beginners and with time you'd know exactly when and what is close to zero line. Remember we dont look at only one thing to "Create" a setup. We look at a combination a few simple things and create a setup and once setup is created we take a calculated risk and go for it! That then is the time to watch and learn and let it roll and wait for exit signals!
cheers
Immy

What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.

I have been trading the higher timeframes for quite some time (not Aims) and have found over time that you get a feeling for what is happening, however, Aims is new to me as it is to many on here, therefore, I have all the settings on there including the audible alert.
Just before the hour I look through all of the pairs to see what is happening and then do the same on the hour when the new candle has started. Even if there is no clear signal you may see that one is forming and pay close attention to it. I like support, resistance and trendlines and have the major ones drawn on my charts and these are a major decision maker for me.
Hope this helps

Re: Topher's Journal
Sat watching from 6:45am and just caught this beauty for 14pips (1.4%).
My NZD-USD H4 trade is going well this morning and is currently up 85pips.
Lets hope NY brings a bit more activity.

Re: Topher's Journal
As I logged on to MT4 this morning I caught this setup for +7pips (0.7%).
I won't be trading much this week as I am going away on business.

Trade 2 for today and a nice +6pips.
The TP was at the 5min high so I set my SL to 6pips also so this trade has given me +1%.

Re: Topher's Journal
Three Aims levels in close proximity I thought if the price could break these then it would fly. I set PO 3 pips above and once hit it progressively went against me. I exited on red dot for -5pips (-0.5%).
