Similar trade setup as this is YEN cross also, I think worth watching for longer term frame traders

Immy -thanks for the tips on sleeping alligator - it all helps - great to see interest being sparked for higher time frames, as many traders are committed heavily with family, children, businesses and work it shows that the aims system on higher time frames can get you the pips and keep the dream alive. Took at beautiful H1 trade this morning on the NZD-USD. H4 was confirming the signal so I went short.

I tightened the SL just prior to Bernanke's speech, however the price continued falling until it hit my TP which was just above D1 low Aims level.

So that's a nice +76.5pips (+3.8%).

And another H1 trade this time AUD-USD which hit its SL after I tightened it up for the Bernanke speech (is that a good idea?).

This one gave +20.6pips (+1.03%)

Hey Richard. IMO good idea to tighten, preferably inside profit range behind a good technical S/R level if possible or minimally BE+.

Thanks Herbert

It made sense to me but wasn't sure if I would be choking the trade. Been so close to the TP on the nzd-usd trade I wasn't sure whether to exit the trade manually or sit and watch. It was quite enjoyable especially the screaming at the screen part willing it to drop further.

Thanks again

Richard IMHO

as a rule of thumb if you're hitting a 50% success rate as a rule of thumb hitting a 1:1 would just be ok to keep you going, as long as you get correct exit signal, hitting a 1:2 would be not considered as a premature exit. If you're hitting 50% success, and suppose your average loser is half of average winner (or possible wins pipwise) then depending on certain other criteria hitting a 1:1 would not be considered as premature exit. AU in this case had no EXIT signal.

as I said, IMHO>

cheers

~Here is my trade on UJ, at the time the SL required was too big which was remedied by going for low risk , lower lot size initial trade and add on when it was appropriate. I has the potential to go even more but I have realised 3%. This is my 3rd campaign on H1 USDJPY so far.

cheers

This chart is a bit busy I know, with all my Super Trend crosshair lines, Fib retrace etc, but what do you think of EW projection?

Immy, what is that " Principle C on 4 Hour " comment on your chart? I re-read the manual but still not getting it...

Thanks, John
