Trade Management Expert Adviser - VE_AIMS - Manage Trades By Dragging Horizontal Lines.

What is it?
This is a Trade Management Expert Advisor. It is available in the public domain. (This is not part of your purchase).
As soon as you enter a pending order, this will automatically put a 10pip SL and 20pip Target Point.
The values above are default only you can change them to whatever you like.
The main purpose of this EA (Expert Advisor) is to enable us to to do the following without the need to go to terminal window.
It saves valuable time and makes our job easier and stress free.

What does it do?
1. Pending Order
As soon as you place a pending order the EA will automatically update Stop Loss and Take Profit Levels instantly and display coloured lines for those levels as below.
Blue Line: Pending Buy Order
Orange Line: Pending Sell Order
Maroon Line: Stop Loss Order
Green Line: Take Profit Order

You can change pending order price level, stop loss and take profit levels. Just click or double click the line and drag it to desired level, the order is modified instantly sent to broker and the change is reflected in the terminal window.

2. Once Order is Triggered. After order is triggered you can move Stop Loss by dragging Maroon line and change Take profit point by dragging green line.
Drag Lines to Modify Pending Order, Stop Loss and Take Profit Point. Please play around on demo before going live.

How to Install it:
Put it in the Experts folder under your MetaTrader4 Platform folder. Note not in the indicators folder but simply stick it in the Experts Folder.

Once that is done, go to MT4 Navigator and click on + sign on Expert Advisors. There you will see VE_AIMS as shown in pic below.

If you have downloaded and installed AIMS Templates just simply apply the template and it will show this EA on the top right hand corner. If you want to attach to your chart and save the template then simply drag and drop on your chart. Make sure the icon is smiley.

Hi there

I have problem as to when I remove the Trade Management EA it still places the SL and TP. How do i remove this?

Hi

I can suggest two things, first make sure you do not have the VE EA running on another chart, the other is to switch off the EA box on the menu bar at the top of the screen, if you click on it it should change from green arrow to red

I may suggest the VO from Forexfactory as a great tool for entering the trade and money management. It is not free but in my opinion a very valuable tool especially when trading short time frames.

i am fairly new to AIMS and have purchased your Indicators of which are great!
I also have the eWAVES V1.0 which is also a great tool but wondered if you could work your magic by adding the following:

When placing a PO for the EA to automatically place the PO for the set amount of pips above/below the AIMS box, for example;
AIMS box is 10 pips so when placing the PO the EA would place the PO with the +/-1 pip and +/-3 (depending on spread) pips automatically above/below the AIMS box .

I know this would be a tall order and excuse me if this is a daft question to ask but if it could be done it would save valuable time when placing PO's especially trading M1.

Ian how much time it takes when dragging lines? min 2 sec and max 5 sec, u r wanting hours of frustrating coding to save this 5 seconds. In fact u can easily drag the sl line above/below aims.

Nitin this was a question worth asking - If it cant be done then thats OK -If it can be done then thats OK!

Once again if it can be done would save valuable time in a very fast moving 1Min TF!!

I thought I'll just highlight this bit. The maker of this EA is Luktom. Hi version has more options in it.

Having printed the above, we are in process of finalising a TM EA hopefully by the end of April we might have something that would do exactly what you suggest, (we already have a beta working version) . Will announce when the time is right!
