(Hopefully you don't mind if I jump in your journal...) I was in fever couple of days and while resting, was checking charts during London session. EURUSD and Herb's favorite princess. I really must say that AIMS works extremely extremely extremely nicely!! Flow of the market, alligator, AO, everything nicely in sync. Got nice trades also! Bill Williams video together with AIMS system is an eye opener. You really can feel the market. After this couple of days I must say that market is a friendly place!
Great to have you post here Tomi. From your description i can "feel" you have been "transformed" by AIMS. Before AIMS, price charts always had this covert anxious effect on me, a silent trader killer. My screens were windows to a shark tank..... :))

Now it is exactly like you described. :-bd
Post some trades in your journal again and share your views while doing so. I find that sharing views one may just connect with another trader to unlock personal styles. I am a BIG supporter of individual styles although we trade the same system. Personal style is essential, that is where one's individual skillset get's integrated with AIMS and your trading performance unlocks.

You know, before AIMS i also traded using harmonics, but now with AIMS i can see that harmonics was for me just a method, like a tool to apply yourself as a via to the market. With AIMS I am in direct contact with the market, no interface, harmonics between mind and market. The mind automatically harmonise (connect) with principles based on natural law.

Nice chatting..

The Princess smilng on me.. +39
Price coming off my 1H 50fib after turning at 61.8 last week, my bias bearish when crossing 200sma and testing with momentum coming off 200sma inside AIMS setup.
Took fractal trailing looking towards 38,2fib @106.597, just beyond the nice 5min w5 TZ2.
At daily 10 and 50 ema was looking to see what market would do, finally closing manually, suspense starting to wind me up... hehe

*[edit]* 5min TZ2 as provided by Snorm eWaves.... :-bd

Here are 2 examples where my 5min w4 malady takes place, me wondering OFF standard AIMS setup criteria attempting to "catch" fractal level breaks off my own S/R levels (38.2fib) ... :)) (spaghetti entanglement?) (rofl)

Had I caught the previous moves, I would have traded it up and down too. But since I missed the down moves, I stayed on the sidelines.

My criteria:
when I see price going sideways creating a tight range, i.e. tight AIMS Levels (meaning the distance between upper and lower aims levels is relatively few pips depending on the time frame and pair of your choice) I get excited.
I wait for breakouts. I'm more interested in the first break outs then the second ones. Thats when the M5 (or any 3 or 5 times higher time frame if trading other time frames) breaks out and M5 Alligator wakes up after a good solid sleep.
Thats when I look for opportunities on m1 as longs as the M5 alligator remains open and AIMS Waves keep making new highs/lows.
As soon as the peak is too big and pip-wise the market makes a good dash I, mentally, start assigning lower probability labels to any new set-ups.

So If I have missed the initial breakout I'd be less prone to take trades (if M5 Alligator is telling me to exit trades if trading m5). But had I taken the previous I have pips to play with. In doing so if I trade where you traded, Sometimes I'd give back other times I'll make some more.

cheers

While druelling over the previous missed price movement, i ventured for a w5, slightly late entry, then missed target by fractions to return to be+ 1.7.
Ewaves TZ1 would have been spot-on. Was about to raise target to see extended w5 to london open reversal....
