Morning all,

dot analysis for the London am session attached. Despite PA moving only saw 1 set up that finished at BE... Most of the time the m5 level was too close so that kept me out. If you dont follow the m5 level rule then you should have had a very nice morning.

cheers

Hi Grant

Thanks again for posting the dot analysis.

I took the same trade for the same result

Helps me enormously to see that I'm taking the right setups

Evening All,

Was actually off today and managed to watch the charts for most of it, just a shame the EU decided to only move 64 pips form high to low all day..... Not the best conditions for trend trading again but unfortunately there are days like that.

Looking back at the PA from today i am more than happy with only taking 1 trade and sticking to the rules as i trade them. Patience and discipline were tested to the limit but i passed the test with my account balance in tact and no silly losses form chasing non set ups.

I also know that i have to stay in the now and forget about what happened today and focus solely on what i see when i switch the charts on in the am.... I know i have said this before but tomorrow is another day.

Anyway as per the rules i trade (flow chart) i had 1 BE trade today (PDF below). If you are more aggressive and ignore the m5 levels then you could well have had a good day....

Cheers

Grant

edit : as i'm typing this S&P have just downgraded Spain and EU made a 30 pip move down, still within the 64 pip range though.... (rofl)

Morning Everyone,

hope your weekend is relaxing and fun.

Fridays PDF attached with my 2 trades :

1. +11
2. -3

Total +8 (+0.61%)

How to sum up the week?? Well it was another one of those where the range was crap for the majority , only really redeeming itself yesterday. Its not the greatest conditions for trend trading but hopefully if you followed the rules then some + pips were out there and big losses should have been avoided....

As for me i finished at +16 (+1.23%) from 9 trades on EU m1. I'm happy with that considering the chart time i got and the complete mess of the charts Monday to Thursday.

As i said yesterday we now have to forget about what's gone on and focus solely on the charts as they present themselves next week.

"Stay in the Now"

Enjoy the remainder of your weekend

Hi everyone,

So that was April, I for one am glad its out of the way with its 385 pip range. One trade on the last day of the month which was a rent of -5 (PDF below), which is annoying but all part of trading… Again patience and discipline were tested and no silly entries made, so account balance is again left mostly in tact.

As for the month the pics of my results are below, happy with the result on M1 trades as most of the time the charts were a chop fest. I need to work on my H1/H4 trading, as proven by Topher there are pips to be made (Well Done Richard).

Looking forward to a more trader friendly May..

Cheers

Grant!

5% for April is not a bad result. Very good well done. Slow and Steady wins the race! As long as the account keeps growing!
