Nice Post Herbert as usual!

I'd just like to say one thing.

This might on the face appear out of context or something but in its core, imo it isn't.

Hey Steve :-B

I have found this resource for some nice mql tools. Between these also an MT4 <>Excel data link to transport custom indicator data.

ExcelLINK ADDON Features:
Written in C++ to have optimal speed
Using Microsoft Native API to make the addon compatible with almost all versions of Excel
Send/Receive String/Value/Float values to/from Excel with simple commands
Capability to format cells fontsize, color
Capability to optionally autofit cells
Loading and Saving excel compatible files through Addon
Capability to send calculation commands like =sum(a1+a2)
Rename Sheets for better overview via commands
Supports sheets for all operations. Its possible to send output, read input or calculate on specified sheet
Free of charge

I just had to post this one. :)) Hello eurusd!!!
I show AIMS trend reversal, not providing a setup 1 BUT setup 2 variation. thus, no fresh AO ZL, alligator green tested (dimension 2). I went bit earlier than aims level break using 1st AO positive bar after alligator test....

Look at the new generation cross-over... :)) Blue balance crossing purple and throw a trendline in while we are at it. B-)

TP area was planned for the 78.6 blue fib area with tight stops being hit on 2nd half of position. The fibs i draw is serving me well using a consistent method, no subjectivity. I am willing to share that if any-one interested. Just remember we are not target traders, just an old habit of mine...

NOTE: It has come to my attention that i was totally ignoring 2nd setups as it's own entity. Any thoughts on that?? Main difference is, no AO ZL... I am open to criticism. Let go people, i can take it.. :D

Hey Steve :-B :D
I am posting here since i do not want to clutter the 5-wave thread and this post is dished straight-up, just add own salt... :))

As per my attached 1000 words, this morning's eurusd 1min, we had a wave 5 +divergence construction of lesser quality. (ZL not crossed).

Please check my thinking and excuse my different colours. I used the blue channel line to delineate 5 top exhaustion and resulting 1st TL break.
2nd red TL then sync's with break of purple.

Q1: Is your optimized/high probability qualifier for w4 a break of ZL or would this example be in your options since AO probably reached some-one's yellow minimum.
Q2: Since i do not want to do divergence trading as it's own setup and stay as close to AIMS principles as possible.
I have 3 possible entry scenario's. Your comments?

1. 1st TL break (blue, marked 1) and break+test of balance line.
2. 2nd break of TL and test of purple.
3. Break of aims level, setup 2.

I do realise 1min may have considerable variations because of it's subjected TF, above just guidelines.
No concern required from you, just putting you on the spot, gleaning your insights... :-B .. I take my own decisions.. B-)

Thanks for your valued time.
I am deliberating sending you some vetkoek-on-the-house to speed up the testing..... this chart scanning is making me crazy... :))

Some additional thought on above post.

As per shown chart, the depicted Ewave 3 on price can of course prompt a larger rounded wave 4 developing to ZL with equally developing wave 5 to follow, which is quite often. There-fore, i take an early entry as per options may put me in a wave 4 trap.... :ymsick: :D
AIMS qualifiers essential.....

Meneer Herbert

that's a perfect post for the P5 section in the forum - don't worry about cluttering it, such discussions are what it's there for.

Technically that doesn't exactly fit the P5 rules as the eWaves hasn't shown the wave count - it's a P3 :D Nevertheless, the price-based E count is good and the channel is perfect. The channel would have been the secondary TL; the red line the primary TL. The blue dotted vertical line shows the confirmed break of the secondary TL; 4 bars later you have the re-test of that TL, with balance line test as you say - a perfect bar to place your order under, coinciding with AO cross.

Break of ZL seems to be a great confirmer of the TL break - whilst I have added a ZL cross alert to eWaves, it's not currently part of the W5 alert that I'm working on (it will simply be a W5 alert for now).

All three of your entry scenarios are good - the break of AIMS under 2 would have been a great add-on, as would 3.

Great chart matey and a little less bejazzled than normal (rofl) Could this be the new Herbert template ...???? Still have Mr Demark numbers on there I see - I've never found them to be of any real use so gave up testing them some years back.

Can I have my vetkoek now ????

cheers
Steve :-B
