Topher wrote:A good week this week, well actualy a good overnight trading H1 (the last 4 trades shown below are all from this morning). This week I have taken 9 trades for +139pips (+7.95%).

Usd-Jpy M1 +10 (+1%)
Gbp-Usd M5 +10 (+1%)
Nzd-Usd H1 +15 (+0.75%)
Aus-Usd H1 +4 (+0.2%)
Eur-Jpy H1 +10 (+0.5%)
Eur-Usd H1 +30 (+1.5%)
Usd-Chf H1 +20 (+1%)
Nzd-Usd H1 +20 (+1%)
Usd-Cad H1 +20 (+1%)

I am not taking any more trades today as I don't want to go into the weekend with a loss. I am more than happy with 7.95% for the week.

I am another year older on Monday so my wife is taking me off in the morning to Scotland for an extended weekend. I will be back trading on Wednesday. I hope you all have a great weekend.

A short trading week for me as I had an extended weekend holiday. So three days trading which yielded 4 trades and +80pips (+4%).

My trades consisted of:
USD-CHF M5 0
USD-JPY H1 +50 +2.5%
NZD-USD H1 +50 +2.5%
USD-CHF H1 -20 -1%

Another short week for me next week as I am away on another short trip mid week.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Nice work, both the trading and the journal :)

Question on your exits. What's your criteria?

Exits are variable for each trade. I look for support resistance levels and place my TP just above/below that level. If these levels are a long way from my PO and I know I will be away and can't manage the trade (most of last week’s trades) I simply set a fixed TP and let the trade do its own thing.

I have been trading for many years and have always used support and resistance to good effect. My fixed TP exit method may be a little unorthodox, but it is working for me and at the end of the day the objective is to bag those pips and see the account grow. Maybe I can bag more if I use a different trade management system, who knows? At present this is definitely stress free trading and my account is growing, for me that is plan accomplished.

Another short trading week for me. Only a few hours at the screen which yielded 3 trades and -17pips (-0.85%).

My trades consisted of:
GBP-USD M1 0
USD-JPY M5 0
EUR-USD M15 -17 -0.85%

I shouldn't really have traded this week as I didn't have the time to devote to it and was rushing about. that's lesson learnt and see what next week brings although I don't expect much as I am going away for a few days.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Was wondering where you got your excel journals from. ? As i would like to purchase some.

Cheers for now Dennis :)

Apologies for the delay in sorting this out. I have had a very busy few weeks.

just fill in the data on the month tabs and leave the summary tab alone. I have left my trades in so you can see how I have filled it in. It won't suit everyones needs/requirements but if you can make use of it then that is great.

Hi Richard,

I am really grateful of you helping me and posting your excel sheet.

I was the 8th person to download it and I am very disappointed that the other 7 downloaders did not have the courtesy to thank you. Well .....that Karma could be reflected in their lack of pips. :))

Yes most of us freely share on this forum to help each other but I suppose you will always get some who take advantage.

Again Richard warmest thanks to you, Dennis :)

Another very quiet trading month for me as my work is starting to get very demanding as 3 years of design work is coming to a head (I work in car production design). My total trades for May has been 25 which resulted in +267pips (+15.01%).

When I started trading Aims back in January I said to myself that I would give it until the end of May to give the system a proper evaluation. During this time I have traded from M1 to H4 all with great success. My conclusion is very simple. Aims is an excellent system and is the only one I use (I trade it as Immy describes in the manual with no additions) and intend to use it solely as I move forward. I am not going to focus on M1 or H1 etc. I will scan across all timeframes and take the setups as they occur. I am in the process of scaling back the pairs that I trade to make this more manageable.

In the 5 months that I have been trading Aims I have taken 113trades to give me +1908pips (+97.31%). These trades were taken during 334.83 hours of trading which equates to just over eight weeks of trading (assuming a 40 hour week). When I work out the hourly rate it is quite staggering and way above anything I could have imagined.

Initially I traded on demo but very quickly went live using small position sizes. After only a couple of weeks I upped the stake quite significantly as I found this sharpened my focus. After 5 months I am now at a stage where I am making very good money from Aims on a consistent basis and am at a position if I wanted to could live purely on the money I make from trading Aims (even enough to keep my wife in shoes and handbags and have enough left over to pay all the bills). I feel I am fortunate that I have a job that I love very much and have no intention of leaving it just yet, it is a great feeling knowing that I am going to work because I want too and not because I have to.

I just want to thank Immy and everyone on the forum for a fantastic system and the great support. My contribution on here has been limited recently due to my work commitments I will make an effort to at least post some of my trades in the Journal.
