The very first question in the flow chart is "Is there a Dot?" and that is where my questions lie as follows:
Once a dot has formed, what events cancel the dot "watch" signal? Here are the scenarios that I see. The question is at what points do we stop watching for an AIMS box break and wait for a new signal.
Scenario 1
Within an AIMS box, we can have multiple dots form in both buy and sell directions. In the case of the purple line being contained within the AIMS box, we bracket the box. If the purple line is not within the AIMS box and we receive a Dot of opposite color that would have us countertrend trading without a new AIMS box forming, do we cancel the previous Dot's signal and wait for a new one.
Scenario 2
We have received a Dot and subsequently, smaller AIMS boxes form with Dots that are contained within the original fractal boxes dimensions. Given that the original signal box is small enough to trade, do we retain the original Dot signal or cancel it in favor of subsequent Dots. If we cancel the first Dot signal, I assume we would want to trade the breakout of the larger fractal box.
Scenario 3
Assume that we have a pierce of the fractal box in the opposite direction of the planned trade per the signal Dot. Does this pierce cancel the Dot. In this case, a new AIMS box would not have formed yet as the fractal involving the "pierce" would not have confirmed yet.
Thanks for your reply!

Re: Red Dots, Blue Dots, Stinky Dots, True Dots?
Morning,
to answer your scenarios (this is how i do it, others may well differ) :
1. Opposite colour dots cancel out the previous dot. So i always go with the last dot printed.
2. Again opposite dots cancel the previous dot. In the case of smaller fractals being made then the "is the m5 level too close" question should come into play and the PO placed accordingly.
3. Piercing of the aims level does not cancel the PO only an opposite dot does.
hope this helps
