Re: Bettina's Journal
This is really not my day : Another rent -13.
Neglected the big box, which was immediately punished.

Re: Bettina's Journal
Good morning all,
yesterday I should have sent you a thistle, but today is starting much nicer. Two things I learnt yesterday :
1 ) Not to underestimate big boxes ( forgot it somehow )
2 ) Not to throw away smaller wins below 10, ignoring significant levels, whatever the aims box says. 2 times I let possible winners about 7 tp 9 run into loosers.
So tried to pay attention to that today : 2 EU winners with + 10 and +5. Noted my exit reason in the chart.
See you !

Support and resistance lines are very important factors when trading as is limiting losses. I believe we all get lost at times in going for the big pip wins. I was chatting to another forum member today who has a TP or 7 and is very successful with this approach.
Lovely photographs by the way.

Re: Bettina's Journal
Hi Richard,
yes, that's so true. I was really programmed on not exiting too early, which might be right within big runs. But more minor wins will add also.
My 'good mood' photographs

Re: Bettina's Journal
Good morning all,
nice start : +18.4
Didn't wait for a new aims box after pink dot, but entered below M15 low, which was just a little below H1 and H4 lows, exit above RN - more plan than fear. Would have stayed in only if 1.26 was passed without hesitation.
Have a good week !

Great trade, it was a beautiful setup. When I see a pink dot like you had (mine was red) that is just out side the aimes level but everything else looks good I go for it as you did.
It is a great start to the week, it is suprising what it does for the confidence and takes the pressure off.

Next one ( hey Richard, I got you
) )
Exit pure plan. Expected a green 5 before the red 5. Exit at 61,8 % of the green 3 : + 9,5

Re: Bettina's Journal
I have a question, where I don't expect a strict answer, but one gained from much experience.
What is open, when I speak of M5 alli ?
Example is current GU : when M1 exceeded the upper aims (red vertical ), M5 showed me what is between the two verticals. Would anybody say "this is open enough" to go long or not ?? green had crossed the red, but not the blue one.
Thanks !
Bettina

These are the grey areas that I am unsure about as well. As a result if I am not sure I don't take the trade and I didn't take this one.
My criteria for taking a trade is 'if it doesn't scream trade me' I don't. Although I sometimes break this rule.
