After opening my MT4 this morning I saw a nice down trend on Cable M1. A setup 2 presented itself and I took it, SL was at 10pips and TP was initially at 50pips. I got out of the trade manually on a black diamond although my SL was within a pip or so. +21pips (+2.1%).

Richard! You should close, then open your MT4 platform more often. :)) Nice one!

Due to red news and SR levels not been correct I did not take some of the big moves earlier today. What did catch my eye was USD-JPY M5 potential for a short. I stalked it for almost 4 hours and it finally gave a great setup that I took to give me +16pips (+0.76%).

I originally had my TP set just above TZ1 which would have given me 1%, however, as the trade unfolded I though it might develop into a wave 3 so I moved my TP down slightly but alas it hit my original TP level almost to the pip and started its retreat. I got out of the trade manually after two complete green candles.

These are the trades I love and although I am a little annoyed at myself for moving my TP I have 0.76% and am very grateful for that..

I took this too. This was supported by an Arrow as well. Meaning trend on M30 and H1 was down. Visually we saw a clean break down and then retrace on h1 and m5 gave us that all important setup in the direction of the trend and still iwth very minimum loss risk.

cheers and enjoy your weekend!

Neat trade Richard. No trades for me today, having IT network problems here. That's why I am posting tips... :)) Concentration all over the place.

AIMS forum also hanging a lot or is it just my issues?

Aims forum has been okay for me today so far, however, I have had some issues with it taking a long time for it to load or not at all in the past few days.

The server says too many connections some times. Its got to do with SQL database. I'm not expert on that so gotta find someone to run a query and change the parameters.

will sort it soon.

Get in. What a move on cable and I got in just in time after been on a conference call for the past 45minutes and was away from my screen. Took +27pips (+2.7%).

Got out manually as price retraced slightly and red news was only a few minutes away.

Awesome Richard! Question, for m1, what method do you use to be in time for a setup given that you monitor multiple currency pairs? Dot alerts? or some HTF /cyclic manual trend scanning? or other alternative?

Regards
