Hello Grant,

Why didn't you exit on M1 and M5 when it closed below the red line?

Thanks!

Hey Julius,

I dont see a close on red line after my entry on the EJ m5 trade.

As for the EU m1 trade my AIMS trail SL was at 1.2285 (-6 pips), the lows and closes of the candles below the red line were within a pip of that so left it where it was.....

hope that helps

I didn't notice it was EJ sorry, I was talking about EU M1 and M5. You know that it is a high level trading to know that it is ok not to close below the red line even after two red candles close below it. For me it would be breaking the rules. That is something I can't attain at the moment. :-) I guess you have turned off green and red lines trailing on Aims trailing...

Julius!

There is one point that you are missing here ! Grant uses his Trade Management plan. He does not exit on close or green/red line. E.g if his Stop is at -6 based on his Trade Mgt plan, if it closes on the lines or even break an aims level, he will hang in there. sometimes it is good other times the exit on line would have been better. You just gotta stick with something! IMHO> Don't know what Grant will say (But I think he will say the same)! but this is what I think! CHEERS

HI again Julius,

apologies for my manners earlier, i forgot to thank you for the privilige of testing your hard work on the AIMS trailing EA, despite it only being a beta version it really has made my trading even more stress free.... :-bd

as Immy says i dont use close on green/red MAs for trailing exits. Trailing either same colour candles or aims boxes is how i have always trailed my SL. That said i do use MAs as target points in conjunction with other S/R points.

many many thanks again for the EA

cheers

Hi everyone,

I only had 2 hours ish at the charts today and for once i actually saw a set up on GU m1. set up 1 dot with set up 2 entry looking for a 5th wave down. I got called back out to work whilst in the trade so took my profit when the doji candle closed at the BRN for +15 (1.15%). Pic attached below

evening all,

for once I felt like I was completely in the zone today. the set ups played ball and as i said to the AIMSters in the skype room it now feels like i have laid to rest the saying "Its Grants day off so its gonna be crap" (rofl) (rofl)

Anyways 4 m1 trades today :

1. EU +10
2. GU +13
3. EU +18
4. EU +12

total +53 (4.07%)

pdf below

Unfortunately though it is the time of year again when my wife (teacher) and kids enjoy their 6 week summer holidays so for me trading gets placed on the back burner. As an addict I will of course look when i get the chance but on previous experience i know that i wont get much chance. :((

If i take any trades i will of course post them here and i will be around and about after market hours to read about what i have been missing..

So many pips to you all and i'll be watching ..... :-B

cheers

Oh What a beautiful day! I love such days! I know that we could have made even more, which makes it even more exciting! but for what we have, I am extremely grateful.

I'm sad to learn that we'll be trading much without you! Its always fun to have you around. Damn it, who's going to alert me to setups! ^:)^

Enjoy your time. As for me, I'll be slow this month, since me no eating tomorrow!

Evening everyone,

With the hols started i had no trades today which looking at the charts now makes me jealous as some pips were to be had.

For the week i fiinished :

m1

7 trades, 7 wins for +95 pips (7.3%)

m5
1 trade , 1 win for +13 pips (0.32%)

total +7.62%

i had to check over my pdfs to make sure that i had no losses as i thought my Spread sheet was lying, but no the spread sheet was spot on and no losses was correct. If only i could do that every week...

Like i said yesterday trading is on the back burner now for 6 weeks so have a great weekend and i'll be around and about when i get a chance.

cheers

Great week Grant. Well done.

Thanks for always putting your trades and results up. It provides inspiration from us other traders at the beginning of our journey with AIMS.

Congrats on a great week, and enjoy the time with your wife and children ^:)^
