Hi Steve, thanks for the reply.
I thought the purple line gave us an indication of what the 5 times higher timeframe was doing, therefore trading away from it means we are trading in the direction of the higher timeframe. I mainly ask because i really am trying to tighten up my trading discipline as in the past i've taken trades towards the purple line and been burnt.
I loaded a template and the forex widget and fractal fibs were there. They arnt moving at all. I havent purchased them, do i need to?

Hi Russ - the purple line is used in the AIMS V5.1 Setup, so feel free to use that if you would like the purple test (which certainly isn't a bad thing).

that template does not show any double arrows when i apply it to my charts,,
it includes aims box v5.1,gator 5.2entry alert v 6 (twice),forex widget and snorm ewaves v 1.0
setup 1indicator is not included in this template,

perhaps you are referring to another template elsewhere?

i have tried various versions and templates my self but have still not suceeded in getting a template that consistently works, my main issue at this stage seems to be that i am not getting pop up alerts on all signals,sometimes i only get alerts on down arrows but not up arrows for example on certain pairs ,

can some one help me with this please?
i think at this stage that i will just initially concentrate on double arrow set ups , obviously - i need the pop up alerts working to benefit from opportunities that will inevitably arise,

i appreciate all teh help to date , thanks

Yes thats the link to the template that I'm using myself. I checked it on my charts and it gives me pop alert up down DA/SA both . Make sure V5.1 Alert Popups and sounds are both turned to off. Let me attach another set of Templates and hope this works.

I'd really appreciate if you could post a picture of it. If you have snagit or Jing http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; just take a picture with the indicator settings open and attach to your post. this would be nice.

I attach a set of pictures below with the settings for both indicators , its taken quite a few photos to do this as i cant seem to maxamise the settings box for individual indicators,,
as you can see from some of the pictures, i have received no buy alerts at all eventhough teher are clearly up arrows , i am very puzzled by this and would really appreciate any ones help who knows why this s the case
