Im just starting to trade but I just wonder Immy are you sitting on charts for the whole day and how many currency pair you observe.Im thinking if its best to get couple of them and focus or try many others also?

Welcome to AIMS I hope you enjoy your time here.

Well I do trade full time so I'm around most of the time. But if the market is dead I start doing other stuff until it wakes up. Everyday is different. But as a standard if you choose to trade the lower time frame e.g. the EUR/USD M5/m1 strategy as presented in the book, if you dedicate 2 hours during london session that should do the trick. You If you want you can give another 2 hrs for new york session or just trade NY session which ever suits you. It should do the trick. Remember we dont sit so that we trade. We sit so that we see a valid, high quality, high probability Setup and then we decide to trade. Be very choosy and you will move forward. IN Forex less is more, trust me.

Immy, I am trying to get my new mt4 charts to look like yours. I have 5.1 dots and diamonds showing up but you don't. I am a little confused. Should I delete the 5.1 indicators and just use the new DA alerts? Also I have 2 indicator windows below showing the aims wave5.1 close to zero in all yellow....should that be there?...Sorry about the confusion. Can you explain how your mt4 is setup, explaining which indicators and templates are included?

Please visit the DA Alert post http://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtop ... f=34&t=841" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; there please read all the information so you understand the alert better. Then at the bottom of the post please download the template. When you apply the template you'll know what settings I use. If you dont want the dots, then you can delete the V5.1 indicator and save the template over.

If you draw any study, vertical line, horizontal line, fib exp, fib retrace etc, they remain on the same spots on all time frames. Draw a horizontal line or trend line on time frame switch and it will stay where it was. Its a very useful tool .

Just A Quick Reminder

Whenever You Have a DA Alert. You have to do a quick 2 Step process.

Step 1. Check is it is a Setup 1 or Setup 2 based on the 3 Rules or Using Grants Flow Chart
Step 2. Visually Check Chart for Each of the Arrow. e.g a DA on M1 appears, re/blue arrow tells you that Gator is Open on M5, (meaning trend confirmed) and Yellow background Arrow tells you that one more higher time frame gator is now open in this case m15. I have an example below. Here there is a nice setup and DA appeared (altough right now M1 gator is opening to upside but at the time of DA this Gator was sleeping) when I check m5, it was ok where price was but when I looked at the chart to the left it does not look like a trending market bu any way, I also checked m15, it was NOT ok.

On top of the above, there are NEWS scheduled for 12pm UK and 1.30 again. Amid such newsy environment its best to stay away. Decision was taken. NO Trade (and that is why I was able to formulate this post)

Immy please tell me when should I enter on the brake of aim box from m1 or on the brake from m5 ? Because im a bit lost.Ofcourse im talking when all the setups is ready to be taken.
