A profitable little ride for 10 pips on m1 as per chart attached, just after 11 am today. Helps recover earlier losses

I'm finding today, for once, it is M5 which keeps getting me in trouble. The purple line is just so near price, and whipsaw abounds.

Hi Ray,

I'm just interested in how you managed to have DAs there, since M5 and M15 gators were still open south.
But well done ! Congrats

Thanks for your comments

I think, bearing in mind the green line is projected 3 bars forward I was happy to consider the crocodile had slept and was waking up
However yes I'm at risk of opening these trades prematurely

Between 3 and 4 there was another great opportunity for 15 pips, on M5. It has more than restored earlier losses, and I am currently 20 pips up on the day

On the whole it has been another great week for me

I'm sticking to the m5 chart as I find 80pc of the signals to be right

What I want to tell myself as much as others is "Stick to the rules" It is so easy to let loyalty to a currency or the chat on other blogs (the market will go up/ the market will go down) over rule what this system tells you to do, and that distraction is best avoided. Yes, fundamentals do come into it to a large extent, but sometimes the market is slow responding to the true sense of the news, and it is best to do what this thing tells you (although also usually best to stay clear at times of high impact news

Monday Morning

my first trade was a short at around 1.2905 but it only went about 8 pips right (which I missed) and took me to the other side of the Aims box and took me out

I reversed the position, and have tried to draw a chart. Trade is still open 09:30 and is about 45 pips in profit. I will trail the SL to the red line, (teeth), perhaps will close it out if it looks wobbly, but I'm trying to stick to rules!

Update, I closed that long running EU trade at 1.2957 when it came back to the teeth (red)line, where I had ratcheted up the stop loss every 5 or 10 minutes, after having been perhaps 11 pips higher at one stage. A satisfactory outcome as it contained 40 pips of profit, although I could have had 50 or more if I wanted

Looks like the market may just roll over at around this point and go south again. But who cares? Just follow the system, currently it might say we can short the M1, but we're too far above the purple line to do that on m5 for a while. Will look after lunch

I missed a trade on M5 at 11.45 (London time) which would have given me a clear 10 pips due to being on the phone and with a visitor

However took another 6 on a short as it started rolling over this afternoon, as described on the graph. If I stayed in the trade I would have easily taken double that, however I'd rather have 6 of profit than 6 of loss. It wasn't an entirely valid signal, crocodile not asleep, AO bars not yellow, although there was a DA, breakout from AIMS box swing low, crossover of the purple line, and signals already on M1. Slap wrists.

Psychologically, having started with a loss this morning, it wasn't a perfect start for a Monday, however confidence came back as things moved my way. By risking 3% on some trades, 2% on others, I have made 8% ROI today :) And other people I'm in touch with who are starting with the system are loving it too
