2013 is certainly shaping up well.

Took 4 trades in total today. The attached chart shows two of them. The first was a classic aims entry while the second one was a bit cheeky. The first one I exited on divergence and the second one was simply a tp at 1%.

Well done Richard.... still admiring your ability to stay in these for the long haul! If you don't mind me asking, what made you stay in when price came back into the alli and even closed slightly below red line? Thanks

Dave

From my analysis of the higher time frames I was confident on a further move up. Because of the strong initial move up I had enough room to play with and had my sl in a comfortable position (although it was close to been hit).

The analysis I am talking about is primarily Elliott Wave. The higher time frames definitely have euro heading North, for how long who knows but for the short term at least. There is also something else that I am using that for now I am keeping to myself.

Thanks Richard for your reply. I'm happy to call that 'something else' just a gut feeling/trader's intuition. I know that to get the biggest winners I've ever had I ignored a couple exit signals and just held on as the whole market was moving ie not just the pair I was trading. And as you said you had a stop in a comfortable position so in essence it was a risk free trade anyway. Nice one. Thanks

Hi Richard

Very well played, it was my intention to let it run on this one, but somehow somewhere I lost my focus and closed fro 13. I even wanted to get back in realizing my mistake but then I thought, chasing is never good. Its good to see you nailed it!

cheers

Hi Topher

About 6 months ago 6th June there was a photo in your journal of the view from your window over the hills (fells!)

You called it your inspiration, and that is absolutely wonderful.

I bet it's a different scene this week, if you have the weather like we have down here (south east uk - snow and ice).

Your journal is one I always make a point to read....
