Something to add : I don't go to 1% risk with that SL yet !!!!!! My position is still calculated with 10p risk !

Bettina wrote:Hi Tomi,

after having analyzed a lot of my trades I try another strategy, similar to Grants, but even sticter : I don't let them back into the box, which was my entry level.
So, if I enter 1 pip below the aims level , my stop is 1+spread ( = 2,5 ) above it, makes a risk of 3,5 pips.
I very very rarely had trades, which retraced into the box and then made it again. Most of them made a block dot and left me with -4,5,6,7
But - just a try for some time !

Totally AGREED!

Similar to my strategy these days! I rarely see them go my way if they come back and close inside the box. Needs Tight Spread, which i do!

This is no trade. I'll keep it just to remember.
It's one of my problems.
1 ) Situation looks very much like a tade.w5 down completed, above purple again, M5 Alli up, blue dot, M5 aims level very near
2 ) It's no setup, because AO is old, small but not yellow
3 ) Either I take it - then it won't run
4 ) or I don't take it, then it does.
But most important and dangerous:
5 ) My brain remembers : ok, those dots do work !!

THEY DON'T IN GENERAL !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for reminding us again of the rules, especially the danger of trading when the AO is already out of amber. I always take notice of your objective appraisals

Hope your luck is running better this year and that you will see some good growth on your account
I wish more people would come on here to share something on their journals

1% daily gain, compounded for 250 trading days, (approximately one year) would produce 1103% account growth[/center]

Hi Immy and all,

don't laugh : I right now try to find out, what a setup is ;)

Look at this one :
1 ) eWaves is not yellow --> no setup
2 ) Immy, you don't have yellow : did you regard this one as "close to ZL " ??
3 ) Clear DA, so setup, because DA is stronger than AO
4 ) the w3 was a w5 at that moment, so stay away from 5 of 5 ???

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Point 4 is correct, it was 5 of 5. Even if it was not a setup before and you did not enter, u have to keep an eye on price action. E.g. u did not take trade after the pink arrow down and thats where you should have seen a setup, so if it did not setup and you did not take a setup its ok but you have to take that information and think about. With that information you'd know that had you taken a trade there you will be looking for exits, at the time of the vertical box on your chart, rather making entries. So with that information you will filter this. For me, Gator was not sleeping, where you've marked the box and Iwas short and looking for my 20 pip TP to be hit. I was not keen on adding on here either so no trade for me.
I don't use the orange because I know what is close to ZL and what is not. orange is for people who found it difficult to establish what is close to zero line, they thought it was too subjective, which I agree it is. The orange bars are guidelines. I focus on Fresh Cross of ZL more than anything in my trading. and of course Tight sleeping gators with Tight AIMS Box creating horizontal rectangle boxes. I hope it makes sense i wrote in a haste....
