Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Same thoughts here! My account is too small to take these. My limit goes somewhere in 18 pips. It's not my trading hours anymore, but also previous 192 pips move would have make hesitate. But what is interesting is that there was nice divergent, followed by ABC correction, followed by PC/W2 and huge impulse wave as we know now. Immy, your postings during last days have opened my eyes a lot!immy wrote:A nice trade but I filterd due to big SL requirement. I think I should have lowered lot size to reflect the pip level required and gone for it. A mistake ... Still Learning!

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Another correction: based on exiting on Red line before divergence there was no exit. PC would have let you stay in this for longer. haha....

I've seen this, but filtered it, not because of the big SL, but because I thought it was too late.immy wrote:A nice trade but I filterd due to big SL requirement. I think I should have lowered lot size to reflect the pip level required and gone for it. A mistake ... Still Learning!
We had a large w3 and a small w5 ( but that happens often ) and I remember you saying : After a larger move it's wise to wait for a while.
How could one see at the arrow, that it would do such another w5 ? Only because of the PC ? It looks like the "time to get out" and not to get in.
I think I'm more and more confused !

The entry was certainly where you should have exited. but sometimes it could go and never look back. but on this occassion the entry was made the top of a 55 pip move from above into the 5th of the 3rd wave. good you exited. and then the lefty kept me out. No worries, NEXT

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
It really is simple. Take the first break out of AIMS box when gator is sleeping inside it. and add on on the next one. then let it run until it closed on the green line. if it goes too far from green line then trail 5 consecutive red candles or 3 if they are too big. and chill. or if yo udon't find that and see a BDC exit on that.

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Good morning Immy,
wonderful Friday for you also !
I have a question on EJ and big boxes. I put them to 20, but what would you think ?
The last part of that current w3 came out of a 35 pips box. Was it a classic setup because of the ZL cross ?? Would you have recommended to take it ?

Bettina!
You won't believe. I had you in mind. I was going to write in my post, (before I even saw your post) we were writing it at the same time, that bettina had a rent here yesterday and she might be thinking the same here. But every moment in the market is unique. One works other does not. I had the same "fear" that it might turn in to a rent. But I said, the power of LO and the power of negativity of the summit is on my side. !
I hope it makes sens.e Classic Template is FREEDOM but unfortunately alot of people can't hand freedom so we put Classic Core simple 3 indicator setup in "fetters" if you like. We put chains of purples and locks of dots and bells and whistles to help the budging new trader find a way and then he/she may find freedom some day! now is the time.

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Here is the power of FREEDOM = Chaos = Classic Setup
when in tune! you see the twists and turns so clear you just go with the flow, you dance rather than race to the finish. in trading there is no finish line, its a dance floor.
some cool reversals to take advantage of the corrective waves. exit was at will.
