Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Ok then! I'm done here. There may be plenty to come later. I may or may not trade it but i've made more than I usually make in a week today. 200+ pips happy with it and am not going to bore myself with wave 4's if there are any. This has been one of the best weeks.
cheers all and have a great weekend!

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Congratulations Immy. What an amazing week!
Just a quick question in regards to this statement:
"It really is simple. Take the first break out of AIMS box when gator is sleeping inside it. and add on on the next one. then let it run until it closed on the green line. if it goes too far from green line then trail 5 consecutive red candles or 3 if they are too big. and chill. or if yo udon't find that and see a BDC exit on that."
How do you take into account the HTF and the eWave? Or is the new 'classic' approach all about the break of the fractal from the mouth? Thanks.
Dave

The NEW "Classic" Approach, is called Classic because its THE OLD approach. :o3
And Yes, its simply Break of Fractal (Setup 1) when Gator is sleeping. You Take your trend from your current time frame and eWaves. Our aim is to take the 3rd and wait through retrace and take the 5. We do that by entering first using Sleeping gator, the 3 rules setup, and then add on on the next 1-2 AIMS levels making sure average price is not messed too much. Simple! But you need markets that are moving. If they are not moving just stop. And yes, its all about trading while being aware of the trend. You trade either in the direction or against the trend but you must be aware of it when you do. You must know what you're doing, is it counter or with trend. There are times when you want to trade with the trend, and there are times when counter trend is higher probability. But the easiest one is trading with the trend. So today, our trend was CLEARLY down. so Short , short short, down down down was the call. not much right now, as we are recovering from the drop! perhaps abount 45 min ago the higher probability direction on m1 was up not down.
cheers
ps: and so we are long fro mthe first fractal breakout outside the gators mouth at 10.50 gmt+2

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
So we now have 3 Option.
Classic: For those who want freedom
V5.1: Ideal for beginners. Perfect Partner for AIMS The Setup eBook. This is where you're going to learn so that you may one day choose to trade the Classic.
V6.1: for the most conservative of us all. Only take Higher Probability Setups in the direction of 2 higher time frames.
I love them all!

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Hi Immy,
Congratulations on your excellent results.
I have a question on the initial stop loss. There has been a lot of boxes between 35 - 55 pips in size over the last couple of days on EJ and I was wondering if you would let a stop loss take a full hit of 55 pips? For instance, if you were just tipped into a trade with a 40 pip box and it went 5 pips into profit and then fairly quickly turned against you, at what point would you get out?

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Hahaha, I suppose my choice of the word 'new' wasn't entirely suitable.
So I suppose this is all going back to a time when I first started learning AIMS. Very little reference to the HTF, just take the S1 and S2 on the current time frame when eWaves supports it. Simple.

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
In addition to this it would be great to see some charts showing losing trades as it is the initial stop loss that I seem to be having most problems with. Unless of course you don't lose!dmfx wrote:Hi Immy,

Re: Immy's AIMS Trades
Based on the above picture. took a quick scalp. Price dangled around green line, gave me two doji's. marketed order and went for straight 20 pips scalp. It worked. There is a time to let it run, there is a time to take reversal and there is a time to scalp. It all come with University of Hard Knocks Scholarship = Experience. Once you stay in a certain filed long enough, your subconscious mind takes over. Trading becomes "Automagical". It becomes what one person described as narrated by the Williams "this is the most fun i ever had with clothes on". This am has been NEAT! and I'm short for another BDC scalp this time. perhaps another 20 pipper I'd settle for. 12.06
