Re: Paul's Trading Journal
After a more or less succesful vacation, been gone skiing but came back injured (nothing serious), it's back to trading AIMS.
I have done some trading in the last couple of days. But it was mostly on my own 'auto-pilot' and it left me pretty much even.
Todays results: +35 pips
Running since feb 1st: +128 pips, account +5.4%

Re: Paul's Trading Journal
i'll comment on just one thing which is important. No matter how many mistakes you make or rents you pay on valid trades, that does not destroy your account what stops you from growing your account is mistakes that we see on the last picture. Where you exited way too early. these are trades that pay for the bills and the houses!
ps: oh and I'll suggest if trading EUR/USD the Fruit way, i suggest move to M5. Much better

Re: Paul's Trading Journal
Good day. Traded Fruit only on M5, have to learn the best SL for those trades. Other than that a fairly good day.
Today's results: +19 pips

Hey fellow, your charts are M1. If you trade M5, your charts should be M5, entry taken on M5 and trade management on M5. Anyway, I was with you in trade 3. Unfortunately it didn't fly. Have fun!

Thank you for your remark.
Previous I used Fruit entries on M1 but Immy suggested I moved to M5 for Fruit on EURUSD. The Fruit trades today were only taken on M5. I have both M1 and M5 charts open anyway. This journal however is M1 only (for now).
I am having fun indeed! Just need to loosen up on my Stoplosses, which are way too tight.

Re: Paul's Trading Journal
Did the right thing on SL today. Loosening up a bit is better for me. A good trade and addon in the morning as result. I am pretty happy about it.
Later I took some wrong trades just before NFP. I always trade NFP and put in some Fruit trades just before. Because of the increased volatility those were taken out pretty soon. OOTH NFP was a great trade today. (But not an AIMS trade.)
Today's results: +61 pips
Running since feb 5th: +208 pips, account +12.3%
This means I have grown my account 12.3% in one month with 3 weeks of trading. Have I found my groove?

Re: Paul's Trading Journal
Here are my trades of this week. I was away on thursday, so no trading that day.
On of my problems is (or was) that I trail my SL too soon and tight. It looks to me this is going much better. See the last trade and addon on Wednesday for a total of 104 pips.
On the other hand I ease up on the rules maybe a bit much?
Monday: -14 pips
Tuesday: -1 pips
Wednesday: +101 pips
Thursday: +2 pips
Friday: +68 pips
Running since feb 5th: +356 pips, account +26.2%
