Re: Tracker's Journal

Today I held back a little on LO and got that first Fruit to go short. Nice little trade. Looking at the chart now I think one could have constructed a 1-2 Setup with those two long Fruits down there.
Nothing major in the next two campaigns either and then I got pretty lucky with that nice little long Fruit. My platform got stuck, otherwise I would have moved those TPs farther up as they are not part of my trading plan.
But before I knew it I was out of the campaign at the best possible point. :D
Had to stop trading then for the day as I had to attend to other things.

Camp 20: Short Fruit with angulation + Add On
Trade 1: Fruit + 10.3 Pips
Trade 2: Add On + 5.2 Pips
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Result after the 1st batch of 20 Campaigns: + 73.9 Pips

Camp 21: Short Fruit top of the wave 3 + Add On
Trade 1: Fruit + 4.1 Pips
Trade 2: Add On + 1.0 Pips

Camp 22: Short AimsLevel Breakout
Trade 1: S1 - 3.4 Pips

Camp 23: Long Fruit with angulation + Add On
Trade 1: Fruit + 29.8 Pips
Trade 2: Add On + 26.0 Pips

by my count you've done 15 Campaigns. only 5 to go. :) See how easy it is? and you're up 191 pips. if you simply do your position size on 1% per 10 pips. you'd be 19% up. :) next week with compounding you'll be 50% up.

Market didn't move to much this morning, but there where some decent setups that got me some Pips; some of the exits could have been a bit preciser maybe.
In the afternoon I caught the 15:30 Fruit Long with one Add On, but was a little to slow to close below the nice Fruit that formed and put a short order in. Went short below the AimsLevel that should have been my Add On level. The appropriate thing to do would have been to trial the candles there, but I closed with a small loss at the green line. The whole entering at the Add On level business was motivated by the fear to miss something and not the right thing to do.

Camp 24: Short Fruit with angulation + Add On
Trade 1: Fruit + 13.3 Pips
Trade 2: Add On + 2.0 Pips

Camp 25: Short AimsLevel Breakout
Trade 1: S1 + 2.5 Pips

Camp 26: Long Fruit with angulation + Add On
Trade 1: Fruit + 8.2 Pips
Trade 2: Add On + 3.1 Pips

Camp 27: Long Fruit with angulation + Add On
Trade 1: Fruit + 8.4 Pips
Trade 2: Add On + 6.9 Pips

Camp 28: Short AimsLevel Breakout (Not a proper Setup)
Trade 1: S1 - 4.3 Pips

Total for the week: + 171.5 Pips ( Immy I think you mistook those 35.1 minus Pips on Wednesday for a positiv number, but anyways I am pleased with my result for the week and already looking forward to next week.

Have a nice weekend everyone!!!

Firstly huge congrats for the discipline you showed in terms of recording the 20 campaigns secondly well done on the positive week. This is huge

I have one question
Are you happy because
1. You made pips
2. System made pips
Or
3. You were disciplined

Your answer to this question may determine the future of your trading success

Have agreed weekend

The morning session didn't start well for me. First short, then long, then short again below the fruit. Nothing wrong so far I think, but then I screwed up when I didn't take the SAR. The PO was already in but I took it out again after the market moved sideways. After that it felt like being caught on the wrong foot. Tried that second fruit short up there which didn't really have an angulation. And then SAR much to late. wanted to get my money back!!! stupid thought that comes up ever so often and distracts me from the real task at hand, to trade valid setups and follow my plan. Good thing I had to leave, needed to clear my head.
The afternoon session was a little better, but the long trade should have either been closed below the first fruit or at the green line. with trailing aims I could have closed below that fruit that touched TZ1 for another 36 Pips in this campaign.
The fruit short was a good signal, and I closed it on the green line.

Camp 29: Short AimsLevel Breakout
Trade 1: S1 - 10.0 Pips

Camp 30: Long AimsLevel Breakout
Trade 1: S1 + 2.5 Pips

Camp 31: Short Fruit with angulation
Trade 1: Fruit - 7.3 Pips

Camp 32: Short Fruit (desperate)
Trade 1: Fruit - 11.0 Pips

Camp 33: SAR Long (Market had completed waves not a very good SAR spot; had that before)
Trade 1: SAR - 14.7 Pips

Camp 34: Long Fruit AA + Add On
Trade 1: Fruit - 2.8 Pips
Trade 2: Add On - 8.7 Pips

Camp 35: Long Fruit with angulation + Add On (that is the kind of Fruit to wait for!!!!!!!!)
Trade 1: Fruit + 23.6 Pips
Trade 2: Add On + 15.6 Pips

Camp 36: Short Fruit (rejected)
Trade 1: Fruit - 10.0 Pips

Camp 37: Short Fruit with angulation
Trade 1: Fruit + 8.5 Pips
Trade 2: Add On + 2.7 Pips

I totally liked your trades in bother sessions. really nice!

btw: why are you not counting your 20 Campaigns? why do you restart every day?. if you are applying the 20 trades/campaigns rule then you have to assess every set of 20 campaigns. I'm confused

cheers

Ok Immy, I just changed that. So the first batch of 20 campaigns was finished on Thursday the 26th with + 73.9 Pips and the second batch should be completed tomorrow.
The campaigns have a sequential number now.

The morning session went not to bad. I traded what had to be traded, no regrets there. Closed that last SAR near the all time high which was a good decision.
In the afternoon I started watching the market at 14:00, but did't take any trades till shortly before NYSE. I didn't think there was enough movement in the market. In hindsight one could have done at least to nice little campaigns there.
The market forgot to give us a little AA Fruit around 15:40 before that drop. Got in at the breakout of AL. Tired two Fruits Long on the way down. SARd one of them.
Should have had more confidence in the down move, but on the other hand, you never know. Looking at it now the price moved parallel to the green line with some minor thrusts down. The first Fruit was acceptable, but the second one not really. Just ate away on my profit from the down move.
Anyhow I follow the rules today and made myself available to catch a nice move and eventually it will happen again.
Stopped trading before that nice move downwards. Just needed to trade one signal more :(

Camp 38: Short Fruit
Trade 1: Fruit - 7.1 Pips

Camp 39: SAR Long
Trade 1: SAR - 3.8 Pips

Trade 1: Fruit - 7.4 Pips

Camp 42: SAR Long
Trade 1: SAR + 19.8 Pips

Camp 43: Fruit Long
