Congratulations and well done on completing your first batch of 20 campaigns. I'm sure you know the power of it. I'm sure you know, how very not disciplined we all are. I'm sure you know yourself a bit better now.

Re: Simon's Journal
Hi... here is my 2nd batch of 20 trades.
Trade: 3 S1, +6 pips, Score: 1
Good signals, added on second breakout but priced reversed and hit green.
Trade: 4 add on, -9 pips, Score: 1
Trade: 5 S1, -3 pips, Score: 1
Good signals but price quickly reversed towards the purple line.
Trade: 6 S2, -21 pips, Score: 0
I missed the big breakout in the direction of my previous trade, so wanted in and
got in on a small reversal. Price retraced and I closed.
Trade: 7 S1, -6 pips, Score: 0
A new set of signals appeared so I put in my PO as usual. Price broke out and I experienced slippage. As soon as my trade was accepted price retraced, I paniced due to the slippage and closed.
Trade: 8 Fruit, -11 pips, Score: 1
Looked like a good fruit signal bouncing off purple but turned against me.
Trade: 9 S1, -9 pips, Score: 0
I think this was another breakout with big slippage. Again, as soon as my order was filled the price retraced and I paniced and closed.
Trade: 10 Fruit, -12 pips, Score: 1
Looked like a good fruit signal but turned against me to create a higher fruit
Trade: 11 Fruit, -10 pips, Score: 0
Good fruit signal but it retraced. I got in slightly too late and closed too early but think it would have hit my correct SL. Could of been a nice start to add on trade
Trade: 12 Addon, +30 pips, Score: 1
This was the addon I would have taken so decided to take it.
Trade: 13 S1, +11 pips, Score: 1
Trade: 14 S1, -15 pips, Score: 0
Standard S1 setup but got slippage on order. Again, it reversed once order accepted and I panic closed.
Trade: 15 Bad entry, -13 pips, Score: 0
I wanted back in the trade, not following any rule and it went against me.
Trade: 16 S2, +18 pips, Score: 1
Trade: 17 Bad entry, -13 pips, Score: 0
Bad attempt at S1, no entry.
Trade: 18 Bad entry, -12 pips, Score: 0
A bad attempt at SAR/S2.
Trade: 19 Bad entry, -6 pips, Score: 0
Very late S1 entry. I should have noticed the choppy bars.
Trade: 20 S1, +2 pips, Score: 1
Correct signals, survived initial pull back but after I moved SL I got hit.
Totals -25 pips, Score: 11/20
The score is better, but I made some dumb entries. But on a positive note I did my first proper addon. It didn't pay off, only a small rent so the potential is there.
I can see sometimes the charts show taking only Fruit would have been the better option as I had a lot of false breakouts on S1.

Re: Simon's Journal
Hi Simon
Looking at your chart I have no idea what setup are you following. I know you probably don't have the boxes because the settings is set to only 2000 or 500 in the AIMS box v5.1 but if you've removed the box, you've made a huge mistake. Our system started off the box. The other indicators are just supporting the information we receive from the box.
Trade 6 7 9 14 are bonkers! too late entries. no setups. T 13 and 12, you've given yourself a score of 1 but t13 is not a red dot setup 1 and t12 is no setup at all. You've got to talk to us in skype.
cheers

Re: Simon's Journal
Thanks for checking my trades Immy. Yes, my boxes are always on but when I went back to write up the journal they didn't display so far back.
A couple of those late entries were down to slippage, which made me panic a little and close early. The rest, yes, they are awful!!
I'll have a think about the skype subscription.

Re: Simon's Journal
I wasn't happy with my performance last week. I didn't follow the rules properly so I spent yesterday just analysing what I was doing, what other people are doing and decided to try again but stick to those rules. I also downloaded the new Fruit indicator and feel a lot happier with it, previously I saw so many signals, now I can take more time to check and be ready.
This morning went ok. I think I followed the rules better, but missed some long moves when I got out too early. Hopefully I can work on that!
Simon
Trade 1: Fruit, +8 pips, Score: 1
Nice angle and AO for fruit. Got out when price went through green.
Trade 2: S1 , +12 pips, Score:1
S1 formed. Entry slipped and got out on reverse fruit
Trade 3: Fruit, -15 pips, Score:1
Reverse fruit failed
Trade 4: Fruit, +21 pips, Score: 1
Nice small fruit so low risk. Got out when it hit TZ1.
Trade 5: S2, -6 pips, Score:0
S2 trade. Looking for continuation of my fruit but got scared and closed early.

Re: Simon's Journal
Hi, don't forget to re-download today. The final version. there was yet another bug. (my mistake) ... its all ok now.
moreover: T1 and T2 should have been exited where T3 is. and T4 exit is impulse exit. if you just needed a win thats ok but know it that trading like this will not be good in the long run. You can see that you should have added on and this trade could have been held short for a very long time bringing in alot of profit.s

Re: Simon's Journal
Five more trades this morning on Dax. My largest pip win from one trade today so that's an improvement. But, I missed adding on... next time gadget! I screwed up with my SL for trade 8, if I had correct SL on other side of AIMs I would have survived, but then the box was quite big.
Trade: 6 Fruit, +19 pips, Score:1
Entry was a little late, but entry rules were good. Exited on trail.
Trade: 7 S1, -15 pips, Score: 0
I think AIMs box was too big, not ideal set up.
Trade: 8 SAR, -12 pips, Score: 0
SAR from last trade, AIMS box was still big so I didn't use correct SL.
Trade: 9 Fruit, -10 pips, Score: 1
Standard fruit rent, small bar so low risk
Trade: 10 S2, +55 pips, Score: 1
My entry slipped a few pips. Should have added on... next!

Re: Simon's Journal
Trade: 11 Fruit, -10 pips, Score: 1
Fruit signal. Also a good S1 breakout - should have taken that.
Trade: 12 SAR, 1 pips, Score: 0
When fruit failed I got in to what would of been the S1, only to close too soon.
Trade: 13 Fruit, -9 pips, Score: 0
Fruit, closed too soon. Was beneficial but not with the rules
Trade: 14 SAR, -11 pips, Score: 0
Got in too late, so SL was at wrong point.
Trade: 15 Fruit, -10 pips, Score: 1
Small fruit with AO divergence
Trade: 16 Nothing, -3 pips, Score: 0
No entry. Should not have taken.
Trade: 17 Fruit M5, -7 pips, Score: 0
Fruit from M5, incorrect SL as it was a tall fruit.
Trade: 18 S1, -14 pips, Score: 0
My stop was not on other side of aims and was hit.
Trade: 19 Fruit, 4 pips, Score: 1
Trade: 20 Fruit + S1, -5 pips, Score: 1
Good fruit signal, took addon but was in a price channel. Closed out.
Totals -7pips, Score: 11/20
Another 20 finished. Started off ok, but lost the plot today. I wasn't sticking to the rules, I was getting in late and out early.
I see 2 issues I need to deal with. Firstly I am not being comfortable with the correct stops, I need to understand the rule is there for a reason and can see it tripped me up a number of times here.
Secondly it looks like I am trying to trade on some time frame below M1, I was in the right trend a number of times but never lasted the distance.
I'm thinking about moving to M5 to see if I can slow things down?
Thanks
Simon

Re: Simon's Journal
Great analysis there Simon. The two things you've noticed is a pattern you've found. Take a note of it , which you've done already and now next session, make this your goal. Your goal is to watch and observe yourself going into this phase again. Just one look at your chart and from experience I can tell you were "trying to make pips" as opposed to listening to the market and "waiting for the setups to come to you". A hunter waits for his prey to come to him and then pounce with force, strength and accuracy.
keep going keep going
keep going keep going
