Re: Sébastien's trading journal
that was a proper lovely beautiful Setup 1 on UJ... well done mate
Make sure you count of DS with the batch number and trade number. Don't even need to count your pip profit etc. does not matter.

Re: Sébastien's trading journal
Even without looking at h4 that h1 is not a setup1, box is too big purple is far away, AO didnt cross zero line, its not just about the white bars you have there, its best to wait till it crosses to other side and comes back, compare the AO to the two previous trades you had, easy to notice the others have crossed the zero line, this one didnt. Also notice the boxes are smaller and purple comes near the box. This is what the Flowchart is all about, follow its rules to find the setups.

Re: Sébastien's trading journal
I followed the grant flow chart to make my decision and it seemed okay. I did not understand that it was necessary to wait until the zero line of the ewave was crossed so I took this trade.I remember immy say something like "Don't trade eliott wave just trade setup" and i thought it was a valid setup 1.acceleratum wrote:Even without looking at h4 that h1 is not a setup1, box is too big purple is far away, AO didnt cross zero line, its not just about the white bars you have there, its best to wait till it crosses to other side and comes back, compare the AO to the two previous trades you had, easy to notice the others have crossed the zero line, this one didnt. Is it necessary to validate a wave 4 before my entries? 50pip box for H1 is too big ?
Thanks for you help! I really appreciate

Re: Sébastien's trading journal
I'm just watching again video on setup 0 1 2 http://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtop ... f=7&t=1491
So if I understand correctly for setup 1
So if I understand correctly for setup 1
- -Wait for a new peak of the Ewave (wave3)
- -Ewave must return and cross the Zero line (valid W4)
- -wait for dot
- - take the entry when the price break a tight box with sleeping alligator(W5)
- -TP at TZ1 or 2RR

Thank you for your questions. And I hope this makes sense and helps.

Peak then cross = Look for Setup 1. You don't trade the Elliott Wave. You simply trade the setup. When we say wait for 3 and 4 , it is not considered as trading elliott wave. Trading elliott wave is shitty complex exercise. This is not elliott wave trading. Elliott Wave does not need EWave. Its done on price. WE don't do that on price. We simply go inline with AIMS wave or eWave histogram. Its part of the Setup 1. Wait for new peak, then wait for cross of ZL then Setup 1.wam06 wrote:..........

Pips is a relative term. For one pair, during its HIGH volatility period, 50 pips might just be ok, for other pair during its low volatility period it might be just fine. Do't judge it by pips. Judge it visually. But if you'd like to be objective about it then you can go with 30 or 50 pips SL for ALL setup ones on EUR/USD GBP/USD USD/JPY USD/CHF USD/CAD EUR/JPY AUD/USD NZD/USD on h1. With time you'll learn what is what. But first things first. TRAIN FOR DISCIPLINEwam06 wrote:..........
