I think I was the most calm both before and during the trade that I can remember. I think after the previous trade was a loss and some other reflection, I was reminded that I'm trading for discipline and fun, which helped to take away nerves. No pressure and no rush! I just saw the opportunity and executed the plan.

Also, just thinking about the here and now in exclusion of broader goals was positive, i.e., it didn't matter what the outcome was.

1. Trade Number: B1-T3
2. Date/Time: 2018-11-20 13:08 (Chart time, GMT+2)
3. Symbol/TF: DAX M5/M1
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup 1 Long
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade:

I could see the down trend on the M5 had stalled and very clear divergence occurred with AO. On M1, eventually a dot appeared and AO was small. I just had to wait for the AIMS box to compress, so it was time to get ready. Eventually the second dot appeared. The TP was also not far above the top of the M5 box, which seemed nice.

6.Comments and Feelings After Exiting the Trade:

The trade progressed quickly and hit my TP after a few minutes, which was pleasing. I need to make sure I'm more pleased about being disciplined, though.

7. DS For this Trade: 1

8. DS Running Total: 3 / 3 (100%)

For a moment I thought I was looking at my trade. What a beautiful Setup 1 though against M5. it was correctly timed. As long as its a Strong Clear Setup 1 the odds are higher... when this same setup goes in line with M5 gator and Count, then we are double super dooper happy!!!

cheers .. keep following the path of resistance .. one day you'll get insync with it and doing the opposite, trading incorrectly will become HARD ...

Unfortunately, I missed this one.

Cheers

Doesn't Matter... That's part of the process.

If we all could see, and trade the CORRECT setup all the time, there will be NO Problem.

Doing it, recording it, journaling it, and discussing it... that is what gets your THERE... :nerd

Thanks Alison!

Yes, as Immy said, don't worry about it. I've missed plenty - some because I wasn't around and others because I wasn't 100% sure. I also think being disciplined and not taking bad trades is something to feel positive about. :)

For me, as you can see in this journal, it's been slow going, which I refuse to be discouraged about. If I can make just one trade a week, that is still worthwhile.

Wow, thanks Immy! :) Yes, looking at the setup, it felt "right" or natural or something, which I guess means higher probably?

Thanks for your encouragement. I know it's going to take a long time, but I really do want to get the knack of successful trading.
