Here are my thoughts and (if you like) suggestions. (imho)

1. get rid of the SEED indicator. don't need it. (I can see now why you refer to the inside bar too much)
2. Entry number 4 was the one we talked about in the stream. It is NOT part of your trade plan now. So I don't know why you have it mentioned. Its NOT KC entry either . never mind. NEXT
3. number 3 entry is perfect KC e... nice.

don't want to add more... cheers

Thanks Immy,

I have turned off my seed indicator now.

Thanks for the feedback. :thumbs

July 8

Today was an embarrassingly horrendous day of trading.

DAX started well on the momentum trade. This and the US30 Momentum trade were my only DS1 trade of the day. The rest of the day was just an abomination of poor decision after poor decision or winging it and getting lucky. Not a trade plan in sight!

At the end of the DAX session I was up 2% on my account.

Heading into the US Session I was feeling tired and should have made the decision not to trade as my head was not clear.
The first US30 trade was executed correctly and that added another 0.8% to my account.
I then took the next trade which ended in a large drawdown and from there I chased my loss all night just creating a bigger and bigger hole for myself and feeling more and more frustrated and unclear but traded anyway.

My DS score for today should be -10.

What went wrong
On both DAX and US30 after the initial momentum trades, I was switching between M1 and M5 charts which for me was ineffective and confusing.

After the initial momentum trade on DAX, I proceeded to lose the profit I had made on 2 more M1 trades and return to just over BE for the day. I traded my way out of this situation after assessing the market phase on the M5 chart and making some trades. I ended at the 2% up position. This is why when I found myself in the same position on US 30 I decided to continue to trade instead of ceasing for the session.

Here is a sample of my horrendous day.

I will not trade on July 9.

THIS IS WHY WE JOURNAL!!!

We all have these days, we all hide it away from ourselves and others. We secretly think, one day we will get better. But that is not possible.

Now that you have recorded this day, you will know NEXT time. Your mind will be aware of this. But don't let this fear debilitate your trading. This is the BEST step you've taken so far. All those discord sessions, videos, streams and all are NOTHING in front of this One Act of Recording this day's performance.

Have a Great Weekend

Notes:

Today was trading within a range that was shrinking. It did not continue into a trend until I stopped looking at it!

Not a good first session for positive results. The overall result is a DS0 as I am trading outside my trade plan. However I felt clearer and less anxious about my assessments today.

I did 1 trade on Dax M5

July16DAXM5Summary.JPG
Notes:    I drew the box on the chart after taking the entry - might have been better if I had done so before and identified the range!
I gave myself a DS1 for this trade because I followed my rules, but I had not recognised the market phase adequately.

US30 Trades

 Notes:
On US30 tonight I did the rookie trader mistake of trading the hard bits and not getting the easy runs. I was flicking charts a little which was distracting.    I was caught by surprise when the move happened so quickly.

Another DS0 day because I have a trading plan that I do not implement. I have learned some more steps tonight though, such as how to set limit orders on ATM using the swing lines.
I was clearer in my focus on candle formations and the information they were giving me tonight, so it was good from that perspective.

Hi Alina

I really like what you've started. I can almost guarantee you that if you continue like this, you will become consistenlty profitable trader in the next 3-6 months. Keep at it, the ladies have been the torch bearer in this forum. Jas, Vicky, Emma and now Alina! (don't forget Esther but don't why she left us)

cheers
