Re: Ray's amnesty page
The euro seems to be on a steady upward course this morning, although it will probably run out of steam at some juncture (I have seen divergence on some timeframes).
I dont have time to attach charts right now, but I partook in two trades each for 10pips
05:55 ran to 07:48
10:35 to 11.13am
These were entered on the conditions of
1) 5M charts
2) After Dot alerts, alert v5.1
3) Alligator having had a snooze
4) AO near to 0
5) breakout of the Aims box + a couple pips just to make sure the inertia is there
6) going long only because of being higher than the purple line (else would have gone short)
In my short experience these are definitely the strongest signals which I see from the indicators we use

Ray
well done, You are certainly on a roll,.Long may it continue,,
from what i can see both of these orders were placed at GMT times? Is that correct ,- Both were on green dot signals as opposed to blue?
Had you the order placed in advance in anticipation of of the bullish breakout of the Fractal AIMS LEVEL?
Also , I notice that many of your trades initially went in the opposite direction , however you stuck to your trade ,you didnt adjust stops and eventually price rebounded to your take profit level..
May i ask do you basically set a standard stop of 10 or what is that figure ?
You dont seem to use AIMS box bottom based on some previous trades ..
do you never move that stop as teh trade progresses ?
how do you set teh TP level ?
is that fixed amount of 10 or what si that actually based on?
I d be interetsed to know , as your system seems to be working very well
wishing you continued success ,
thanks

Re: Ray's amnesty page
11:42 to 11:46 London time, another chance for 10 pips on a breakout from M5 Aims box
sorry I haven't annotated the chart, I've made 30 this morning

The chart I just attached runs 2hrs ahead of London time, which of course now is 1 hour ahead of GMT until the end of this very month. Some of my charts on other brokers are at different GMT offsets.
Oh whether the dots were blue or green might depend if I'm using v5.1 alerts on that particular platform, but whatever they were I regarded them as clear signals, eg due to cross over at end of candle of the green line.
Sometimes I place pending orders but sometimes I do it manually by watching for the breakout, waiting for a 2 or 3 pips retrace then going in.
10 is just a TP which I am happy with, but if I can baby sit the trade I would trail it manually
and for SL, currently I go with a few pips more than the outside of the AIMS box, it has kept me in trades which have gone right for me, and maybe I'd have been stopped out more often and lost more potential gain than the physical loss would have been from tighter stops.
I cannot overstress that I believe there is something extra good about breakouts on the M5 when they follow similar on M1, this is mentioned in the ebook, which I must read again for possibly the 32nd time!
I can't believe how good this system is! Better than EAs which obviously only incorporate a set of rules to trade digitally, there seems to be no substitute for a bit of intuition when doing these trades, I am slowly learing! Good luck with your own results. To be quite honest I was thinking about not bothering to post until I saw someone had put up a remark to answer!

Re: Ray's amnesty page
14:10 to 15:59 UK time, it gave me another 10 pips on a long, on a breakout M5 from Aims box
So 4 lovely wins, gives a nice feeling

Re: Ray's amnesty page
Divergence again:
Look at the price stepping up 3 major steps this afternoon, and yet the AO makes lower new highs
What happens next???????

Re: Ray's amnesty page
Friday
NFP Day
Some would say stay clear!
Anyway the euro stayed flat for about 12 hours overnight, which I found amazing, I dont think the Asian markets were on holiday
I attach now a trade I DIDNT do, it's ok I think to show our research here, but it would have been a bold move, but profitable, to have gone short at about 06:20 London time, rules for doing so on M1 and m5 would have been satisfied

Re: Ray's amnesty page
PS, It was not my intention to put up the examples of 2 losing trades in a row, because in aggregate this system is unbelievable. Yesterday was a brilliant one for me, but it's a bit historical by now to explain my moves then
This morning the challenge seems to be in M5 a fair bit of whipsaw, ranging market on the euro, purple line is not far away and we could have been wrong as often as right to follow the signals in these conditions
Hope all readers have a good day, the sun is shining in my part of England this morning!
