well my subliminal fund raising isn't subliminal anymore!! :)

I've never known a post to be censored last four years.

just polite requests not to wildly deviate with crazy indicators and
psychedelic templates which isn't too unreasonable.

it was probably a technical glitch, try posting it again.

If your post was 'censored' the moderators would have explained
their reasons. If they haven't done that it is highly unlikely
your post would have been removed.

Just kidding on the censorship. Don't think my comments are earthshaking enough to be censored. Sometimes I do have to click the Submit Button a couple of times to post so I usually check to make sure it went through. That is probably what happened.

my trading has never been better, just started up
again today after a three week break although I read
Immy's post with interest

I think from around 17th you obviously need to be
cautious but if the market is moving and an obvious setup
appears why hold back through superstition?

I only actually trade Dow Jones, simply because I find it
so predictable

but trading is so absorbing!

Modelling Success!

Unread post by kiravon »

There is no certainty but we all want to get as close
as we can

I was reminded in Sam's journal of the cycle -

that Gator and price converge after hours
( Gator sleeping ) and move to meet Purple

Ewaves also flatlines around zero

Then next morning at LO or earlier ( 7am this morning )
it all kicks off with a new daily cycle

I like the idea of a cycle repeating every day, specifically
if you can rinse and repeat

So from 9pm last night I followed GU on the 5M TF through
the night, and sure enough it all panned out exactly as Sam and
Immy say

So with a minimal opening SL ( about 10 pips initially) I waited
for the breakout, and once in the trade switched to 15m TF

I added on twice at subsequent break of AIMS

I closed this evening when the cycle seemed to hit a level
it had twice been repelled from. I closed 80% for 104 pips
and left 20% to run on hopefully tomorrow with a tight stop.

I must say I was very impressed. Even if you lose more
than you win with a modest SL you should do very well

and the good news is that it is duplicateable. If I can copy
Sam and make 104 pips on 15m TF then everyone can!

Entry is child's play. Exit is discrtetionary

You can target TZ1 but if it is a great distance
you might not consider that realistic, - if it seems
attainable it is quite reliable

If you are trading 5m and there is fast momentum you
can trail the momentum bars

or like me just not move your initial stop. Give the
trade breathing space and if you lose you just lose
a little -

what often happens is price will do very well, then
reverse to test the breakout level where you entered,
so you give everything back before either losing or making
50 or 100 pips

yes, sometimes you do lose

This is the price we pay for being in the game, we call
it rent

But this strategy is great because there is certainty -

Price can't flatline forever - it is certain to breakout
in one direction or the other

So you are not glued to the screen all day, it all focuses
on LO and as I write at 9pm GMT Gator isn't quite
sleeping but is certainly looking very tired - and moving
in toward Purple

It is actually starting to look very predictable - the same
cycle I was monitoring last night does seem to be
repeating tonight also

a very welcome case of deja vu

Hey Mickey...

Long time no write ... :) Yes, The Famous Setup is very potent. One day it moves, as the markets "naturally" go to sleep the gator catches up with price, and come european morning again it wakes up and usually moves in the previous direction. Sam's doubling his account trading nothing but Famous setups... Patience is required though ... nice read mate

Doubling his account!

Unread post by kiravon »

If 'Sam doubling his account' isn't music to your ears
you must be tone death!

Here is a better example, btw I didn't know this
was the 'Famous' setup. Not sure what I thought
the Famous setup was - except famous I suppose

We see it is 'after hours' and Gator unmistakeably
converging into Purple. Price, Gator and Purple
all tightly squashed together moving sideways and
Ewaves flatlined again - Everyone sound asleep.

I don't have a number 3 on my Ewaves, or any
number at all but that's just a computer blip.

But we are all set for a Monday morning, although
carrying a trade over the weekend probably
isn't a great idea

It would be nice to think that the 'Famous' setup
has been cycling like this every day for the last 70 years,
- it probably has

It surely gives us a real structure to work with

All done and dusted!

Unread post by kiravon »

Happily I didn't have to leave my positions
open over the weekend as there was a sudden
breakout.

I haven't doubled my account, but made over
10% last two days which isn't too shabby at all

The famous 'FAMOUS' set up

Unread post by kiravon »

I often wondered why it was called 'Famous'

Having just read Sam's journal in its entirety
for the second time it seems Sam first made a casual
reference to his 'famous' approach on April 8th 2014
and Immy quickly picking up on the reference and refining the
approach

I have my own interpretation which may not
be 100% accurate but is phenomenal.

I see it as being S1 on H1 and M15 simultaneously
with a thin AIMS rectangle on both with AO hugging Zero line

Set ups may occur anytime, but Immy explains
that observing price and Gator on M15
moving away from Purple and then
converging back to Purple with Gator sleeping
is prime time to be looking for a dual set up.

When price breaks out of AIMS on both TFs
simultaneously away from Purple this is
a prime Famous set up.

Of course I am happy to be corrected although
what I have just described is definitely as good
as 'Famous'. mainly because I think it is 'Famous'.

I think this screenshot of Sam's speaks a thousand words
and best describes it.

Sam has tripled his live account in six months with Famous
and doubled it many times withing a year or so we
see the potential

Risk is very low

Set ups are extremely mechanical.

To the extent that it is far more cyclical than most
systems makes it very appealing psychologically.

Fruit and Hunt don't work for everyone but I believe
the 'Famous' approach should have universal appeal

- it is extremely straightforward!

28 pips banked

Unread post by kiravon »

Was going to give US Bank holiday a miss,
probably should have done

Breakout on both H1 and M15 and around LO,
price promptly reversed 37 pips before
reversing again for 28 pips profit using
TZ1 as target at which point price stalled.

A very good case for TZ1 but price reversed
back up past Green, then past red, finally
way past blue but still I hung in.

My intuition told me price was coming down,
but I was probably just lucky.

I don't think this was a Famous setup, definitely
not S1, possibly not even a weak S2

I think if you don't really know why you won
it must be a hollow victory

Correction:
Its supposed to be continued impulse wave with open gator. Not a Setup 1. Setup 1 will have a sleeping gator. You want a clear 3 on h1, or any new impulse wave with new peaking AO, no divergence on the AO, you want that 3 of 3 to be formed Today, Usually by some news or major market volatility (famous) you then want the overnight "dead period" starting at NY Close 10pm uk, ending around FO 7am uk, to form a VERY TIGHT Pancake Type boxes on the M15... when you drop to m15 you'd see a clear 3 with a clear 4 that has not pulled back more than 50% has remain pretty sideways creating pancake type horizontally flat boxes... t his is your Famous, when it breaks out of these tight bboxes, your entries might often coincide with H1 box levels (the double aims) or sometimes well before a H1 box (insdie the h1 box) but H1 is showing an open gator.

Hope this helps.

ps: its called FAMOUS because price have moved significantly YD that EVERYONE knows about... its so obvious its going UP or Down... its FAMOUS
pps: it was DAVE of OZ with whom we first worked on this concept ... which is why the famous Forum's first post is created by DAVE... who got married and forgot me. LOL
