Welcome back...

thank you for your feedback on the website, much appreciated. I wish I had done this before. tiny things sometimes take a lot of effort. But if there is appreciation at the end of it, then it's worth it. I agree it needed more structure ... still working on it... adding more lessons every week...

Journal is the KEY... let's hope you stick to it.. discipline is the key... I am confident that you will do better this time. Third time lucky is the rule.

Batch 1 - Trade 1 - 4/5/2020

Unread post by johndata »

1. Trade Number: Batch 1 - Trade 1
2. Date/Time: 4/5/2020 -11.59
3. Symbol/TF: US30-1min
4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup 1 Sell
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking The Trade : Big gap at night. Price cover the gap just at London Open and create a setup 1 after 2 hours. At 5 min chart first dark bar, after gator opened and created a nice sell setup 1 at 1 min chart(gator sleepy-small green bars at gator). I was anxious, but my decision to trade demo account, seems to be good.
6.Comments and Trades After Exiting the Trade : I want to stay disciplined, as that it my major problem.
7. DS For this Trade: 1
8. DS Running Total: 1 / 1 (100% )

5/5/2020
No clear setup 1 on Dax , Us30, Usndaq (1min timeframe). Big retracements at the 5 min timeframe, which destroy setups 1, at 1 min timeframe

Hi...

Still need some work on your understanding of the Setup 1 method. I don't understand why you've pointed to "one dark bar" on the m5 chart. IF its a setup 1, you don't need to check M5 bars.

But as you continue to hunt those Setup 1's your understanding will improve...keep em coming

cheers

Hi Immy,

I thought than when we have setup 1, then at the higher timeframe, there are dark bars.
I have read that if there is trend in a timeframe and there are dark bars at ewaves, then probably there is a setup 1 in the lower timeframe.

Thanks

Ok I see what you mean. But for now, simply focus on Setup 1... with a Clean Open Gator on the m5.

also make sure you capture the Time Line on the x-axis in your screenshots so that you know what time/date was it later during review . also it helps other readers. thanks
